I love the Babys. Highly underrated band. John Waite’s voice still makes me melt 45 years later. I looked forward to Midnight Special every week. It was one of the few chances to see bands as there was no MTV.

Fun fact...Jonathan Cane brought a semi finished song to John to see if they would record it. John said no to sappy...that song was called Faithfully and became on of Journey biggest hits when Steve Perry put his fingerprints on it...

saw 'The Baby's' at the Omni movie theater in D.C. waaaaaay back in the day when they were just starting to get some airplay. Lucky to make it out of there with my life!
