Ah ok I understand what You did, so basically from ios 17.4 and above, the phone itself stores the battery health data so there are 2 copies of data, one on the phone and other on the battery board so even if i change the data of the battery board, the phone will still show the previous health as the IOS stores the data on the phone as well, so if you delete ios completely and reinstall everything it will reset the battery data from the phone as well, clever option👏👏

why the hell did they make the cable permanently attached? i had the original Electra before and i had to replace the Aux cable every year or two. now i can throw the whole thing away because the cable snapped

@@anonanon3066 Not great. They worked fine but sometimes the sound would become really loud and full of static (maybe for 10 seconds every two or three minutes). Re-did them 4 times but the result was always the same. Even tried different computers and drivers but couldn't get rid of that anomaly. No idea what was causing it, specially since the sound was completely fine otherwise.

@@AyameKurenai weird. mine do that too, but i haven't opened them yet. i thought the firmware crashed because of the unexpectedly interrupted usb signal.

@@AyameKurenai Keeping you posted: I just replaced my cable with some random usb cable from amazon, and it works fine. It's even longer than before and looks better. I wasn't able to solder the individual strands to the board because i have no such small soldering tips, so I just used the existent strands from the original cable, which were still attached. It's an electrical-tape mess, and not as clean as the original one, but hey, I can voicechat again. I have to say, there are a LOT of "tripwires" where one can easily rip off tiny cables on the board just by taking the thing apart. My uneducated and unqualified opinion on your issue: your replacement cable is bad.
