Would these pastels work well with soft pastels to use together? How do you consider these as comparison to Rembrandts?

Thank you for this video! I have several questions though. Why do you use alcohol instead of just water? And what material do you blend with?

What type of fixative or varnish do you use? It's a question, thank you for your video and your answer.

Wow, what a big sized pastel you have...wait your blending! Wait, what...what is that you're blending with? I like how you make the reflections of the trees in water. 🤪

Bethany I loved this lesson. Not only are you a great artist you are a wonderful expressive teacher. You explain what you are doing and why in a very clear manner. You also have a lovely voice. I have recently moved over from watercolor painting to pan and pastel pencils. I am thoroughly enjoying the process and that's why I love your videos because I am learning so much. Please keep them coming.

We have lots of snow in Idaho. I have lots of farm Photos I took of snow season. This redo is amazing. I wanted to paint one this winter. But taking care of my elder mom, 94, going on 2 yrs. Life has sudden changes that take time to adjust to. I’m getting older so I’m tired lots. And just have to sit a minute to regroup. Not sure how long I can do this so pondering my options again this year. It’s so hard!

Love what you do! Showing this redo helps me see the differences I need to do. So happy you are back. You are a favorite of mine. Your spirit and nature is calming. Thank you!

I enjoyed your Live demo for dry pastel colours, it done 👍✅ right now it is a very good medium 🔉 we can express anything,I have explained about it, and easily to apply on drawing paper 📜🗞️ no more cost, than canvas painting 🖌️🎨 need only two things dry pastel colour and paper 📜🗞️ and 💝🎁 presentation is our own. How many years of experience you have? in pastel colour? because of when I was working on it at the same time many of the 💝🎁 painters working with me, but first time I am watching to you soon 🔜.
