I bought a NuWave and it broke after only two months. NuWave has had terrible customer service and they have never provided any resolution. Now I have a non-functional NuWave that when I look at it, it just makes me mad. Do NOT buy NuWave. The brand is cheap and has not customer support.

My experience: I'm not sure what variety of NuWave I bought a few years ago, but it was a poor substitute for any conventional cook surface I'd ever used. However, I can see that NuWaves might be just the thing for dorm rooms and such.

why it has so stupid design? why it in fact need an adapter, they could easy just made blade for the couple older models same as making for😢 new ones🤷 This is failure from vitamix, i have 750model and really would like to using small bowl but not with this stupid designed pricey adapter. Also is it even works with smaller 225ml blending bowl? I don't think so

I've used the PIC Pro for several years now. My biggest complaint is the coil size. It creates a hot spot in the center of any pan wider than about eight inches. With a twelve inch pan the edge is significantly cooler than the center. I experience the same temperature issues shown in the review. The temperature setting is not what the pan temperature will be. It's still a good value, and I would recommend it if you are looking for a budget option. I see a Control Freak in my future.

I own each of them, started with the NuWaves… but the Freak is a whole new game, It’s a perfect cooktop, but it also has a probe to make it a perfect frier, suvie or control internal meat temps.

What is the specific difference between the Smart Oven Air Fryer pro and the Joule Air Fryer Pro? All I can find is generic statements like "The Joule uses Breville's latest innovations", but never any details about what those are.

The only difference is you can down load an app on your phone so you can keep an eye on the timer and know when your food is done. To me, the ding at the end tells me when the food is done and it doesn’t cost an extra $100.00!

I wish that my family could have a Vitamix (we have a Ninja) but it’s too expensive for a machine that might not be used often :< I’ve heard your criticisms of Ninja, and while they may be valid, I just don’t know how many people would be willing to spend so much on a blender
@BlendingWithHenry
@BlendingWithHenry 22 күн бұрын
I absolutely understand that you feel the price based on your usage may not match but Vitamix is honestly the best-selling professional blender worldwide. People spend upwards of $1000 on a smartphone that they will replace in 2 years. Most people keep the same Vitamix for a lifetime.

Hi there Henry, You mentioned that different cooking surfaces work differently with induction. Is there any way I can find out more about this? I do have a lot of stainless steel pans, but am I going to have problems with heavier bottom ones? I really need precise temperature control, but balk at the expense of the breville

Egads! I watched this a year ago and it popped up yesterday for some reason and I’m glad it did! Stuff happens and things get put on the back shelf so I forgot some of this. 🙄 Let me tell you, I started thinking outside the box this morning and along with vacuuming ice cubes I vacuumed all the bags of veggies and fruit I had in my freezer that hadn’t developed ice (those veggies will be in soup shortly). Scallops from Costco too! I had a bag of cranberries I noticed had those small premade holes in the bag, so I put them into sealer bag and vacuumed. 👍. I’ll try punching small holes into veggie bags then vacuum seal those - nutrition info stays with the product. THANK YOU for your videos 🥰 Have a safe Memorial Day.

There is absolutely no mention of how freaking hard it is to open the Jar every time you close it.... I bought two of the vitamix .32oz jars, and I'm a 275lbs grown man and have a gorilla grip, and it is absolutely difficult for me, let alone my 115lbs wife.... can you let me know if there is maybe a rubber o-ring missing from my lids, because both my vitamix jars lids don't have anything, I feel an o-ring of dome sort or a seal will fix this issue... or maybe there is a seal or o-ring that's included in the lids, and I just got a bad batch with them missing the seal/o-ring.... please check your jars to see if indeed there's a seal of some sort....thanks, love your videos, absolutely top-notch...

🙈🙈🙈And I have put dates straight from package to vitamix, along with hazelnuts to create a healthy kind of Nutella and my vitamix showed E31 code 😅. Beside that, the oil from the hazelnuts was outside the mixture, it didn’t want to incorporate because of the sticky dates I guess. So I ended up in separating the hazelnut oil from the paste and made date-hazelnut balls rolled in cocoa powder. The oil I will use in a cake recipe. I guess I will try next time using date Sirup to make the healthy Nutella. Thank you for the video. Awesome content❤️🙏🏼

They are totally different machines that do totally different things. I have the Vitamix 3500 Accent with the stainless steel container which will make frozen deserts well especially in that stainless container that keeps the contents much colder. I also just bought the Creami which is the equivalent of a Pacojet which is a dessert machine restaurants have been using for decades and paying thousands for a machine as well. Comparing these two machines is like saying would you rather have a boat or a car. A car might be more useful but a boat is a lot of fun. I would rather see a video showing how to use both a Vitamix and a Creami to make frozen desserts.
@BlendingWithHenry
@BlendingWithHenry Ай бұрын
I don't know what video you looked at but it certainly wasn't mine. I did not compare an A3500 to a Creami. I compared a similarly priced Vitamix which was the lowest of the line with nearly zero features compared to other Vitamix machines.

Thank you, what do you do to get rid of a cloudy container? 🙏🏼
@BlendingWithHenry
@BlendingWithHenry Ай бұрын
Despite anyone posting videos or "tricks" to get rid of a cloudy container, it's not possible. Don't trust any of those KZfaqrs saying differently. I've seen those videos and they are showing a cloudy container, then they reveal a "clean" container that in reality is a brand new container. They are trying to fool viewers to get views and sales. The container is cloudy because of micro-scratches from your ingredients that have a rough texture such grains, seeds, peanuts, nuts, ice, etc. The high speed of the blades push the hard ingredients aggressively against the walls of the container. The cloudiness is permanent. If you have hard water then you have water spots that can be cleaned somewhat, but a cloudy container is non-reversible.

Soaking it is the only way to remove smells from the rubber lid. It's perhaps one of the reasons Vitamix started including plastic lids with their container on their newer machines.

With the Nuwave gold the buttons are under a piece of plastic that deteriorates over time from oil splatters and cleaning until the plastic breaks and you activate the buttons with a plastic knife or chopsticks. The PIC Pro Chef has a flat fully glass covered top. Easy to clean and no plastic breaks.

What are the thoughts on mixing nuts?
@BlendingWithHenry
@BlendingWithHenry 2 ай бұрын
While I'm certain it's possible and may be just fine with select nuts, it could present a problem since certain types require different blend times and other additives for the proper taste. For example Almond milk requires straining and Cashew milk does not which could affect the flavor of what the cashews bring to the milk if you strain them.
