I have the 225i model, and it’s been a good weed eater. The only thing I don’t like about it is it blows tar out the exhaust. I ended up taking the spark arrester out to keep it from plugging up.

Seems all right so far. Not that easy to thread because of the curvature of the line coming off the spool. Time will tell if this head is the real deal.

I agree with mostly everyone here. Brand new Echo chainsaw and I had to return one and get a new one. Still will not start. No reason for me to search KZfaq videos to start a brand new saw. This is crazy.

what about the handle being too loose? THere is no room to hold the nut on the other side while turning the screw. How do I tighten the handle?

I will say red armour is the only mix i used that actually makes my stuff run way better. I have been told try this try that this is the best and never noticed a difference but with red armour mix wow i will say my stuff runs so smooth . And i love the deep red die so i can actually identify it is mixed gas. I will have to try the red armour fuel treatment since i loved the mix. They just make good high emd stuff.

Bought one at Home Depot. Unboxed it. Added fuel and bar oil. Read instructions and followed them. Worst piece of junk I have ever seen. NEVER started. Did not even get one false start. Read multiple instructions and watched multiple videos on start. Again, it NEVER started one time. Tried multiple times and finally gave up. It does not have a purge bulb. What, if anything, the decompression button does I cannot figure out. After the purchase and problem starting, I checked multiple reviews. It seems as though many people have had same issue as I did. Echo, what in the world did you do to your product. I've run chainsaws for 50 years and this is a first. There are not enough adjectives in the English language to criticize the CS4910 sufficiently.

@0:51 .. I am using a Curved head GT200 and when I am putting the speedfeed head on the machine, I end up pulling the stud out. I am using an allen key or an awl to lock the drive gear and no matter what I do it always just tries to pull the stud out, and when I do try to pull the stud out so I can put a new one in I can only pull it out so far before that disc stops me. Have you got any suggestions?

For clarification purposes the “Bigger Base” you’re referring to is actually an extra handle. However it does help in keeping the blower upright abd from falling over as easy from prior models.

This chainsaw is amazing when it actually works, that being said, it’s the biggest pile of shit I’ve ever bought in my life. I follow everything to a T, and it only starts when it feels like it. What a joke, I paid over $500 for this thing.

Update: New clutch brake safety feature was the culprit. After disengaging clutch spins fine now. 🤦🏻‍♂️ ***** Just bought Echo Timberwolf. Fueled up & filled chain oil reservoir. Cut medium sized limb. No issues. Put away for two months on shelf in garage. Motor starts fine, but chain won’t spin. Clutch drum is frozen up. Very poor design. I’ll be returning this chainsaw. It’s designed to fail. This has happened to 2 echo chainsaws in a row. I’m done with Echo.

Renee from Home Depot. Rental rep said it sucks but the only product they carry. The engine will flood if you look at it the wrong way. Spent more time getting it started than working.

Hey Echo, seriously the CS-590… unmitigated POS. Once you get it started, following the choke/2 pull and the take off choke pull till it starts directions in these comments, the reward is a saw that runs for 5 minutes and then craps out. I have a lot of Echo equipment and I gotta say, you messed up with this one. You should refund or replace this turd. Ugh.
