Be careful with wonder wheels. It's fantastic at removing dirt and baked on brake dust, but also for removing bead sealer! So try not to leave it to soak around where the tyre contacts the rim!😉

This is puzzling. I have a 2004 Nissan Almera Tino (manual) and it is ULEZ compliant. so far anyway, 58,000 miles . I have been looking for an automatic of this model due to knee problems when driving a manual, especially in stop start rush hour traffic which we have to do occasionally. I thought the automatic was also ULEZ compliant. Shame as I was on the verge of making a big mistake with a different car.
@sutsi9 күн бұрын
It's weird on this one....the base spec on some are ULEZ compliant I think like a "S"....but only way is to run the reg over on the ULEZ checker

@@sutsi Yes, I guess so. The car I had my eye went today so will leave chasing anything for the moment. Ours in in for service & MoT next Tues and a bit of work needed (torsion bar) so hoping they can fix it. It's been a good car overall though. Thanks for your reply.

@sutsi9 күн бұрын
The bluebird I don't know sorry. You could try opening the cowling to see how it is screwed on and then replace it from another donor bluebird. Like I have done for this Suzuki.

How come that works? I had my battery replaced recently to fix the no start but must have been the starter motor...? Also I couldn't get to the screws on the cowling, do you need a really small screw driver? Honestly so happy I feel like I can keep my car going.. do you think I'll eventually need a new starter motor? :) thanks again
@sutsi11 күн бұрын
@@natalieaskey7891 hi, yes I'd recommend changing the starter motor, it's on its way out so best to nip the problem in the bud.
@sutsi11 күн бұрын
Screws - you need the long headed screw drivers to reach the 🪛 screws

What about the dirty oil(sludge) at the bottom of the sump?
@sutsi13 күн бұрын
Obviously this method not as good as draining from sump plug. One way to do it is, use extractor to take oil out, fill again with say a litre of cheaper oil and suck that out...that should help get some of the sludge out. Also on a standard oil change there's still sludge left...you'd have to use something like a forte engine flush to proper clean it out before draining.
@khalidacosta713311 күн бұрын
If you got sludge in your engine, you have bigger problems than a DIY oil change....

For anyone that comes across this problem here is what worked for me without having to physically touch anything on the vehicle. I have a 2015 c300 with a sunroof that would not close. The features of the key fob allow you to press and hold the unlock button which triggers the windows to all go down and the sunroof to open as well. The same is true for when you lock the vehicle and hold the lock button, the windows will all go up and the sunroof will close. My sunroof wouldn't close properly via the button inside to operate the roof, so i used the key fob feature to lock everything and it worked.
