How you find all this infomation so consistently in every video description? Its impressive.
@TheSinatraCollection12 сағат бұрын
I conduct a lot of research, reach out to several collectors who have been collecting for decades, and usually before I consider what I want to post, I have the information already handy so it's easy to put a description together by the time a video goes out.

Hi, how do you upload that content of Sinatra without getting copyright restrictions? i want to upload some content that i download but i always get that advice. Thank you!
@TheSinatraCollection5 күн бұрын
There is no guaranteed way around it unfortunately and a decent portion of my videos bypass the copyright restrictions is due to the fact they're rare and not sold by a label in any capacity so there's no rights held to certain songs/videos. With that said when you post another artist's work you will likely get hit with some form of it due to how the copyright law functions. But overall the copyright will hit a good chunk of your videos but depending on the rights holder ultimately determines the fate of how much it is affected. Don't get discouraged though and just upload what you can and if it gets blocked make sure you follow the procedures. I had one video get copyright struck by FSE (Frank Sinatra Enterprises) and I had to stop uploading for 4 months until the restriction was lifted. This happened back in 2021. Just experiment and let me know how it goes because that's more or less what I do until either I bypass or eventually something gets striked or taken down.

@@TheSinatraCollection Hi, thanks for you reply, dont worry just changed my nickname i am the same. I was interested in uploading a man and his music by Sinatra and another collections i found in a torrent of 40gb with a nice quality, to make people enjoy them, but i see, that with the chance to be sold these content, never im gonna be aible to post it,. Thank you anyway :D

@@Oskar_5975 With anything from those specials they actually allow single song uploads as I proved that with "Thanks For The Memory" from his 1981 special. So just experiment with what you are truly feeling like posting and sharing and go for it. It's the only way to find out what gets around their nonsensical copyright and what doesn't.

Thank you I appreciate it. If only I had access to the software again I could definitely do a much better job than I did those few years ago when I did have access now that I'm more experienced and savvy with how these programs work. I wish sinatra had written more original pieces
@TheSinatraCollection27 күн бұрын
He wrote quite a decent chunk considering how busy he was and how musically inept he was as far as reading and writing sheet music was concerned. On the top of my head the list of songs he wrote or had some contribution in are: this video's song, "Shelia", "Take My Love", "Peachtree Street", "I'm A Fool To Want You", "Mistletoe and Holly", & "Mr. Success"
@ScottDerkez26 күн бұрын
What I notice about that list is there’s nothing that he wrote when he was at Reprise; although I’ve read that he’s thought to have contributed greatly to the “Future” section of the Trilogy album.
@TheSinatraCollection25 күн бұрын
@@ScottDerkez From what I was told by other collectors indirectly and what I read around through various forums and documents is that Frank didn't directly contribute for that section, but likely he directed what he could given his semi-decent mental state for the time. Gordon Jenkins probably then took what Frank said in consideration and wrote what he felt would fit Frank's character well; given he worked with him for over 2 decades at that point.
@ScottDerkez24 күн бұрын
@@TheSinatraCollection What are your thoughts on the Future disc? I absolutely love the whole "The Future" through "The Future Conclusion" section of it; there's some really splendid stuff that's some of my favorite music ever, and there's never anything laughably bad or weird. Having said that, the rest of the album is quite a different story. I like "What Time Does the Next Miracle Leave" at the beginning before it gets all Sci-Fi as well as some later parts in it. And as a guilty pleasure thing, the part where he gets to Uranus and eats pizza is kinda fun. "World War None" is okay in the intro before the choir starts chanting "WAR," and after that I don't have a lot of good to say about that song; it's way too weird for me. The Finale is kinda a microchosm of the whole disc; lots of good, some mediocre and then downright corny. I love the instrumentation throughout most of it and the saloon piano is really cool. But the lyrics get really bad and they treat Sinatra as some kinda cartoon king or something. The last line about "That cat with a scythe" destroys any good the song was able to do, and it's the only time I really get people's complaints about this whole act of music. But poor Gordon Jenkins though, he didn't deserve the backlash he got; if anything, he's the only reason most of this thing is even salvagable.

Thank goodness Billy Bigelow, a burly and not very bright thug back in 1876, wasn't played by lounge lizard jazz crooner who couldn't hold a note. And Billy could lick any others' father. Frank doesn't really look like he could. He would have made a decent Jigger.
