The town square in Taos was my favorite place when I was a kid. Back then it was common to found "hippies" hanging out in the square as there was a hippie commune in the area. My parents and their friends couldnt believe how those folks dressed, men wore their hair long, and they openly smoked pot. It was a different planet back then. The Best Western is very nice but they are typical looking hotel rooms one would find anywhere. Other places like the Pioneer Lodge, Alpine Lodge, Deer Lodge, are are more rustic mountain cabiny.

Yeah my room was right there where you recorded the water coming over the rocks in that kinda half moon shape. Right under the rushing water big trout were under there. I ran a mini plastic craw through there and it was like a cannon ball hit the water the trout hit it so hard lol! Had a crowd of hotel folks watching me and Christian get it in lol. That peak up that way is towards Cuesta I think. An old lady got eaten by a bear up there a few years ago. Great vid looks like a great trip!

Spent many a time during ski season with snow flurries sitting around that "Deathstar" firepit drinking a beer flight!

This was a fun one! Red River looks like such a peaceful place. I’m generally more of a tropical vacation gal, but there’s always something so enticing about quaint little mountain towns like this that draws me in

We're not planning to wait in long character lines either. Trick or Treat, rides, parade, and fireworks are what we're going for. We went to Oogie Boogie Bash a few years ago and are looking forward to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party 🎃

Great vid! I miss Lubbock! It has been several years since I’ve been there. Holden Hall…as little kids we’d run the halls in there to and from my Dad’s office! Lots of memories in that building! In Red River for Ivan’s wedding we stayed at the Best Western right on the river, and I whacked some trout there🏆 That brewery is a great place! Glad you had fun!

I really enjoyed this video, Mike. My favorite Disney memory is going to Space Mountain when it was the latest new ride. I don't know how my parents kept control of us three kids as we waited in a seemingly endless switchback line to board the ride. 😂 They are amazing parents😊
