Oml. I could NEVER be a marine. I wouldn’t survive the workouts, and if I did I’d be dead at the end of them. Climbing up ropes and ‘swimming’ in ice cold water does seem pretty fun tho! Mind you, my ideas on fun, most definitely ARENT fun for others. (Example, catching lizards, picking up/petting ANY lizard I get the chance to. I once saw a bearded dragon at Home Depot. That was the best encounter I’ve ever had at a store.) I’ve got an emotional support beardie, if I decided I wanted to be a marine, would they let him come with me? STRIP THEM NAKED??? That must be embarrassing!

Once worked at a hunting camp where there was a big, black mule named Sam. Most of the skinners were afraid of him. Only Slim would work with him. They had an agreement, “You kick me, I kick you.” It helped that Slim could think like a mule. He treated Sam well and Sam appreciated that.

She definitely abused animals

Shes most likely only snatching her foot as the marine is pulling her leg out, which is a painful and awkward angle. She isnt mean or just doing things to 'mess with people', its most liekly because shes fed up with people not knowing what theyre doing and putting her in discomfort. The way she reacted to just the sight of the pad (tail swishing, stomping, bum swining) all indicate nervousness and an aversion to the pad, most likey from pain. The way the harness was thrown on could be the cause. It was very rough. Equines have sensitive backs and if something is too heavy to put down gently, a step stool should be used. The way she swung round to bite as soon as the cinch was being done up, but at no other time also just screams ulcers.
