To play online with friends for example animal crossing you would need to have the Nintendo subscription, personally I don’t have the subscription and I still enjoy animal crossing. It’s up to you if you would be playing online with friends then it is worth it.

I highly recommend getting an SD card because without it you can run out of space on the switch easily and the SD card helps keep a lot of storage for my games so they can run smoothly.

Without the sd card it can run from 5 to 6 games normslly, but if you want a lot of high end triple a titles like breath pf the wild, rdr, tears of the kingdom, you’ll need a flash sd card, itll load games way faster.

I just upgrade to the OLED. I had the standard v2 and playing animal crossing for hours the battery drain was unbelievable. And I would have to charge the switch a few times a day. Fun game though. ❤

I think I have the same switch and the same problem. it also charges very slow, so not fun but it functions well
