Powerage has been my favorite album for a long while. And then I had the fortune of getting the European 10-track version with a different track order and a rougher mix… holy balls man

I want to criticize neck tattoo boy but then I'd just come across as a bitter cunt because he obviously is a remarkable guitar player. But I do reeeeeeally want to call him a total knob. (But I won't.)

I love the behind the scenes stuff EC have said on this, that Babymetal wanted to meet them (which surprised Kevin), and also that they wrote this together as a full collaboration. It felt like both sides just really enjoyed working together, and it wasn't a money-grab. I don't know Babymetal well, but have followed EC for quite a few years - lot of respect for their love of music.

Saw them last week at The Chapel in San Francisco. I may not have had that much fun at a show since seeing The Ramones show several thousand years ago. Terrific songs and on stage they're nonstop explosive energy. So much fun. Check 'em out.

It seems inspired by 80s and 90s soft rock, and it makes you feel a certain type of way. I really like this song.

The Bomb is such a musically impressive song. The motivation and catharsis I get when listening to it. It’s divine. The point of music is to move you. Electric six makes you move. It’s undeniable.

It kind of kills me. I've had a dl crush on Patricia Morrison for so long, that's not even the right term. Like She's an elevated species and I'm looking up. I'd even say She was AE's muse during this work. This song was written for Her, She's in the video. Yet, She never gets a mention in this.

I'm a bouncer at a bar at the time the song came out that's a sleeper hit that was our theme song kind of you know it's almost the end of the night or that's the one thing that made the staff turn up was that song so that's the only thing I can say

Surprised to see Obituary pop up here haha! Cause of death is such a classic album. James Murphy's solo's add so much to the mix. Really wished he'd been a part of Obituary longer.

Anecdotally, myself and my sisters can all sing however our parents both can't (nor can any relative I can think of). My theory is that it's a result of nurture rather than nature. My parents would always be playing music around the house when we were growing up and I think it must of played a role as why we can all sing. Conversely our parents didn't listen to as much music growing up due to lack of technology, music wasn't as readily available to them as it was to us. We would listen to music on the Radio, TV, Computers, iPods, Phones et cetera, but they didn't have access to that sort of thing growing up. Just my thoughts anyways.

Frusciante will play cool stuff sometimes but I never got why people think he’s so amazing. If I want to hear that style of playing I’ll just go right to the source and listen the real thing which is Hendrix.

As someone below commented... yes this is a masterclass in taking the piss. Now that has its place for sure, but I'd come to expect better than that from JHRA. I never liked The Darkness much but I'd come to enjoy and respect the Justin Hawkins as revealed on KZfaq. If you think Polyfilla (my joke) are just about showing off and not about making music with emotion, then FFS say so.

Excellent band who oddly enough has become less complex sounding as they go on, Their first two albums are rich lyrically, emotionally, and full of depth musically, yet as they’ve aged they are going for a more simple poppy and electronically filtered sound. Their newest releases ironically sound like Shinedown on SOM.

I love it! I didn't know the actor Steven Ogg at all, but the character goes from noticing her to mimicking her moves (so well) to them being a team. Sax is one of the original old rock n roll instruments! And that Saints song is great- although I might almost debate whether it's punk? Almost a Tower of Power sound to the horns.
