Something is not right here..... President Nelson is urging everyone to prepare for the Second Coming, and steel themselves for the tribulations ahead. Now, as he is known as a prophet, seer and revelator in the church, he should already know that god knows the hearts of every man, woman and child in the world and their fate, so why all the preparation for the Coming when god already knows the circumstances of each and every person on the earth? There basically should be absolutley no worry or preparation for the event, as it's known that god has already chosen and known who is going to pass the test.

Just my opinion, but I think that the Second Coming will not be for 30 to 50 years yet. I am 67 now, and I do not believe that I will be around in this realm for it, and that is even if I live a long life.

I guess I am one of those that is lost. But would rather be lost in trusting in my God and our Savior then to trust any man that claims he can bless me and promise me things as if he was somehow equal to them. I just find it disturbing when a leader of The Church uses “I” when handing out blessings and promises.
