All the non-trendy clothes are absolutely great for women who use wheelchairs, as they give us the coverage, movement, fit and function we need without compromising on style. 👍🥰😎🥰👍

I'm wearing a shapeless dress right now that I made myself. I love sewing and they are easier to make. I think we should wear whatever we want. But thanks for the video! :)

I think this is weird advice. Wear what you like to wear. So long as you aren't getting arrested for indecent exposure or fired for offensive imagery, no one cares.
@pippagrey9633Күн бұрын
I think I agree with everyone, @PetiteDressing, and all the commenters. I wear all of these, the stuff that ages you and the stuff that is suggested won't. It just depends on what I'm doing. Office casual (very casual) and I'll try to avoid the shapeless dresses (unless I know our A/C is out) and shorter pants. But for just around the house and the grocery store, I'll wear what's comfortable as long as it's not indecent. I'd love to be able to find more of the gently fitted dresses, but some years you just can't find any in the stores, and I don't really have the time right now to do my own sewing. (And unlike when I was growing up, it's usually a lot more expensive to make your own now.)

I love the scientific part of dressing well. I want to dress to flatter. Dressing is both an art and a science. I love it! I have a virgo rising which makes me particular about my appearance.

The art of dressing in western clothes is a science by itself. And Iam so happy and eager to learn everything about how to dress well. And what suits me. I have many books on dressing up.

I absolutely do not agree with the negativity around wide leg printed flowy pants. They are,in fact, very stylish if well-made and with a beautiful design. High-end designers are making and selling them for very high prices. They need to fit around the waist and through the top of the hip and flow from there. They are fantastic when dressed-up with a lovely, heeled sandal or wedge and a silky, well-fitted top.

I’m 67 and 5’1 and a size10 and curvy. I sew a lot of my clothes because I have a hard time finding anything that doesn’t look frumpy or like an old lady. I haven’t tucked a shirt in pants or pleated pants since I was in my 30’s. But I hate long tunics that you see a lot of. Makes my legs look even shorter. I like crop tops but I don’t want something that will show my belly.

Good advice but there are ways to make some things work like loose dresses, printed pants, or "outdated" shoes. If you know, you know. One thing that drives me crazy is not using a good moisturizer and that includes feet which goes hand in hand with hydration...it's so important!! Another thing is hair as in color, but more so does it compliment your actual skin tone. If you color your hair and can't do it yourself without it looking like box dye job, please have it done professionally or just go au natural gray and all BUT have a very flattering cut and length does not have to be short!!

I am also a type of introvert and shy person. I am really bad in dressing while opting for such loose dresses!!! Your channel must be a perfect fit for me❤❤❤ Many thanks❤. While I agree with some of what ur saying however it would've been better if u said it's ok to wear at home not out in public like those shapeless dresses. I don't agree with the capris bcuz that depends on how tall somebody is & shirts w/loud prints depends on how pretty or boring the print looks.
@stinew3583 күн бұрын
I think the biggest factor to dressing in a way that "ages" you is to wear the wrong color for your skin and hair. Buy a set of pantone post cards (not the real ones the 100 post cards of random colors) and take 100 selfies with each color by your neck in front of a white background (white sheet works). Look at them and you'll see which colors make you shine. Find celebrities that look similar to you and see what looks good on them. Note also what doesn't work on them! Not all this advice will be good for everyone. Find what is good for you.
