Please excuse me for the text, I am writing through a translator. Two years ago, I became interested in the idea of learning to play the piano. This Musette was the first piece that I took apart from notes, played, and then learned. True, in Russia, it’s called Bach’s Bagpipes.

@@KeyboardSkillsPro 🤯 So in conclusion, The C major scale is the same as A minor scale right? So in that case, Cadd6 is also the same with Am7, I'm also a bit confused sometimes that Cadd6 is also called Am7/C. I also get it that every single chord are related each other😁, for example the diminished seventh Cdim7 = D#dim7 = F#dim7 = Adim7 The things that matters are Perspective😲

Yes - C Major and A Natural Minor scales use the same set of seven tones, but of course with a different mode (pattern) - modes are like scales. Due to minor scales not working like Major scales do, the Harmonic and Melodic variants were also devised to make sure harmonies and melodies work together when in a Minor key... mostly this was quantified by our friend J.S. Bach :)
@KeyboardSkillsPro
@KeyboardSkillsPro Ай бұрын
Thanks I appreciate your watching and comments :) So.... C6 (which means C Major + the 6th note of the scale) so would be CEGA in root position (the C is the bass note). But... if you put an A Bass below this chord (like on the Organ) you could then look at is as an AMin7 chord in 1st inversion - so yes the Major 6 and Min7 chords have the same 4 tones but the Bass note can change the way we perceive the sound.

Tom, This is a hoot to play; I'm having a lot of fun working this exercise. I set it to a romantic Bolero beat (I have a romantic Latin package for the SX900) @110 BPM and have played it through a couple of times. I need to work on the runs as my right hand fingers get tied up in a couple of places... UGH!! I'm trying to incorporate the SX900 and the X66 into the exercise to give it a slightly different flavor!! So many rhythms to try out... LOL!! Thank you for this FANTASTIC exercise!

Hello, First, I'd like to thank you for all the valuable information you offer on this channel about the theater organ. My question is, what if the song is in a minor scale, what would be the intros and endings then? Is it that we just play the same riffs you provided but in a minor scale? Or would you suggest other riffs then? Thanks,

Another trick if you're only playing a single low bass note is that you only have to look down as far as the thumb an octave above the note as if you were playing an octave. Just don't play the thumb.
