I admire you for wanting to grow at your own pace and size. I will be following your example with my own business and I am 55 years old just starting my own business.

I 100% know what you mean about being self-sustaining & not having employees. That has always been my goal. No warehouse, no employees. Just me at my house. Plans have **slightly** changed since my husband is my employee now, but I still absolutely do not want to grow beyond that. Too much stress otherwise. I have started selling more expensive items (mainly apparel) which has boosted my sales, but expensive items = expensive investment. So it's hard to find the right balance.

You may hope to be “lovely and tanned” when you get back, but since you are leaving for your holiday lovely already, the tanned part will be a breeze in the sun! Enjoy it! ☀

A lot of people have said similar things but I'm am also an artist (online fine art/realism teacher, different than illustration and selling products etc) but I love watching your vlogs because it reminds me I'm not alone in this kind of small business in the art world. I prefer vlogs where you talk a lot because it's like being on a face time call with a friend! I don't care if you're rambling about your day or a random topic, it's nice to just hear a real person talking. I think we feel a lot of pressure to make our youtube videos perfect, but it doesn't have to be perfect. People subscribe to you because you are an amazing and kind person, and we just like hearing from you, seeing what you're up to, listening to you about your day/business/family/products/random life things etc I've commented a couple of times in the past but I'm mainly a silent viewer so I thought I'd add to all these wonderful comments and let you know that a lot of us are other small business owners who see you as a friend 🥰

I love the sketchy style and love a bit of 90s nostalgia. Hate how long ago it was though! These would make really cute sticker sheets. It's really nice to see artists excited and proud of their work, it's good to big yourself up some times. Lovely sketches!! I would love that on a tote bag but with no writing at all. I would purchase more of you your products but just don’t like any writing. In the past I’ve bought lovely pins with zero writing. But that’s just me. Great video and lovely to see puppy!!
