I would go by colour. But if I were hard-pressed, blue sounds very, very, very slightly more mellow. But that could be my eyes lying to me.

They both sound really good in your hands. Which one feels better in your hands? Is the neck shape similar?
@RyanMcQuen8 күн бұрын
They both feel great. The Larrivee neck is more satin-y, so it would probably be a bit easier to play for sweaty hands or in hot environments. I really like the arm contour on the Larrivee. The Larrivee sounds brighter/more vintage to me while the Godin sounds warmer. They are both incredible Teles.

Really2 like spark but the noise 🤕
@RyanMcQuen16 күн бұрын
The noise was more about the increased treble (the EP boost was in vintage mode which cuts highs), and that the Spark was running at a higher volume level in the beginning of the comparison.

Love your 2 minute teasers. Quick question. I’m looking at this Reverend Eastsider Custom and a Larrivee Baker T. Any preference after playing both? Thanx.
@RyanMcQuen25 күн бұрын
@@andymadonio thank you! Do you like body contours? The Baker T has a very contoured body. The Baker T is bright while the Eastsider Custom has a much thicker tone, they are pretty different despite both being 'T-style' guitars. Let me know if that helps. Maybe I should do a comparison video ...
@andymadonio21 күн бұрын
Thanx Ryan. I picked up the Eastsider Custom Monday. There are no Larrivee Baker T’s to put my hands on. I knew I’d love the Eastsider . . maybe a Baker T another day. A comparison would be excellent. Maybe throw in a G&L ASAT also.

Thank you for the kind words, it means a lot to me. I still really like this guitar, it is unique and I like that. I plan to do a video comparing it to a semi-hollow, but regardless of how similar it is to that, it's a really neat tele.

I had an original Roland Blues Cube a good 12 years ago. 50 or 60 watts. Nice amp with excellent tones for a solid state. I used to Y jack both inputs for more volume. It developed a fair amount of white noise and I finally sold it.

While the Monoprice might be a good amp I'll stick with my Blues Cube. I know how well it takes all pedals, I've not always gotten that from tube amps. Also no lifetime maintenance with the Blues Cube, ever. The speaker on the Monoprice honestly sounds very cheap too. Not one of Celestion's best by far.

The Blues Cube definitely has advantages. The Monoprice could benefit from a nicer speaker.
