10:00 wow, this trick is new for me, I have the same difficulties (like u) when I try to track some harder footages, not only move camera around a place (like many VFX tutorials on youtube). And I get really high sovle error, because there are not good trackers to solve. I saw some Matchmove breakdown videos and I saw they use 3d Scan of the environment for some scenes, but I didn't know how they did that. Now I got it, thanks you! I already watched a couple videos from VFX tutor before watch your video, but now I think I should watch his videos seriously! Matchmove is harder than what people think, and also the very first step to put some magic in live action footage.

These DDR Soft Pad all have a common problem. The big circle in the middle does not have any sensing area. I really don’t know why they imitate this design flaw of KONAMI.

Maybe late into the game, but i wonder if there any risk to have smaller plywood ( to the exact size of the soft dance pad, I am not living house so I dont want to buy big plywood to take place. I wonder if there is any stability issues. I mean 12 mm thick plywood with adhesive should contain well with vinyl?

That was amazing work! I honestly thought the armor was real and just the blades on the wrist was 3D. Amazing job with lighting and compositing! I’ve been meaning to add rotomation into my skills. Do you have tutorial/class recommendations for learning rotomation? Could be with Blender or any other software is fine!

@@marioCazares Oh yeah, I’m following that guy already! Definitely has some great content. It can be difficult sorting through all the “KZfaqr” teachers to find content catered towards/taught by industry professionalsA lot of their stuff can be useful, but many of the channels don’t go too far into advanced VFX/CG techniques and workflows. I appreciate the recommendations and your content!

Hey man, i am thinking about doing this mod soon, i know this video is really old and all but how much would say this increased the pad's durability ?
@marioCazares3 ай бұрын
The pads have lasted and still work to this day however they do miss some steps or double step from occasionally. They worked reliably for years I would say even to around 2021 without many issues. I even played in shoes often. (Although shoes do make the pad slide around the floor a little) We owned 3 soft pads before these modded ones and those all ripped after a year or two. So I'd say this dramatically increases the longevity and the feel of the pad as well. Keeps it from scrunching up as well which is huge
@foxycrystal89613 ай бұрын
@@marioCazares That's amazing, from 2 to 6 years is incredible, i've already purchased a soft pad from Ali and can't wait to mod it with my old man, he seems eager too since he gave me my first soft pad more than a decade ago lol Now I need luck sourcing the materials used lmao

If you multiply about 20 audio effects with the OTT MULT band isolating the 3 bands in the master of a sound for example, you will realize that completely changing the sound, it distorts the sound, but if you multiply the same 20 audio effects with this reaxcomp, it changes practically nothing, it does not increase the signal does not color the sound, Almost nothing msm, very good, obg helped dms with this

Thank you for your wonderful video tutorial! I'm just starting to learn Nuke, Blender and VFX in general! I don't have the finances to buy the courses to fully immerse myself in the logic of creating VFX videos, but have a huge desire to do the same! The internet often does not explain these steps below in as much detail as in your video tutorial. Could you please explain in detail how to reproduce light/shadows/reflections from the video on imported objects in Blender 3D, so that everything "matches" and is as realistic as in your video? I would also appreciate if you could elaborate on the topic of "exporting" the render from Blender -> Nuke Thanks in advance, subscribed to your channel! (sorry for my bad English)

bro this is great knowledge does blender 3d tracker does it that good? there is also in blender . and in compsoiting node of blender there is also a undistort node type thing does it works that good there its confusig terms like k1 k2 k3 polynomial etc. and thanks for the tutorial you are great. and eagerly waiting for the transformers tut
@marioCazares5 ай бұрын
Blender can solve some simple shots but might fail harder shots so you'll have to try per shot and do what you can to get a good solve. In the tracker on the right panel if you go to Camera>Lens, you'll see Lens Distortion "Polynomial". Change it to "Nuke" and now you can use Nuke distortion values. Undistorting in Blender compositor works but I don't think there is any way to add resolution like you can in Fusion or Nuke. So it's recommended to do the over scan footage step in either fusion or Nuke
