I live near the Dells and go there with my wife about twice per month during the warmer time of the year. Here are the staples to hit: --ride the Original Duck --go on the upper Dells boat tour --go into the cheeseball Haunted Mansion on the main drag, it's been there since the early 1960s --best two traditional Dells (but expensive) restaurants: Del-Bar & House of Embers, they're basically across the street from each other --If it's hot, the best jet boat tour is at the 'Wild Thing Jet boat tour' --Most of the pizza is terrible in the Dells, but Sarento's pizza is phenomenal; "Moosejaw" pizza is dreadful --best burger: Monk's, the one on the main drag --best mid-priced restaurant: The River Walk Pub --pick up the best fudge at "Original Wisconsin Dells Fudge" on the main drag

Interesting fact about Lake Superior... You can burn the driftwood found on the beach, but you cannot remove it or take it away from the beach. I am out at Little Girls Point almost every weekend and people are always having fires on the beach.

I am going to use old furniture legs from an old couch, they just screw in. And only the larger side. Smaller side for storage

It seems that the middle 4x4 support leg is a piece of chemically treated wood for outdoor use. You don't want to put it inside and breath in its contents. Keep in mind that home depot does not cut it for you inside the store because of that reason.

I have the same type of van but it’s a 1989 a little shorter than yours when I bought it for 3950. But it still needs a lot of work on the inside. The motor and tranny is great no leaks which was the main reason I bought it. But I have no power to the back I use a battery tor my phones and fan. But that’s about it. I’d like to know more about how to rebuild the interior of it. I love the layout of your van and it’s something I really want it the way you made yours. I’m still looking for friends that know more about the electric components. So I can keep my battery charged better. I have to keep going to a charging place to charge it. So that sucks. 😂
