That's usually how it goes. VGM tracks, for AAA titles at least, are composed with an ear toward the hardware that will be playing the music; there's always something lost when the track is recut. Some of it is also purely in your head, because you experienced the original first.

I'm playing it on android and its my first game of ff7 ever. Gotta say its very well made for the time.

It's still made very well by today's standards in terms of music story and characters. Nothing since this game came out has come close to being as almost perfect this game is. The remake is a huge let down though. The music was mainly brand new songs that didn't fit into the game at all and they removed so many tracks from the original and almost every location didn't even play the correct song that's supposed to play from the original but instead. If only eumatsu didn't get sick and didn't have to stop working on the remakes soundtrack. He would've done the soundtrack justice instead of the diarrhea that seems to flow into my ears through about 80 percent of the remakes soundtrack. Such a shame but at least there's hope. One day somebody will make a mod to insert the correct songs into the game and have them play in the right areas.
