Good show. i know some of the folks that were in this and I have eaten a few of the places that he reviewed. like they say about hockey, two guys go into the corner and only one gets the puck, I think that he could offer a runner up prize as a matter of generosity. That said, i would have given the second choice to the "Old Canteen". I can't see Frank Teranova without hearing him say the word, "incorporate" as he would do cooking segments on the local, mid day news . Good video. Thanks.

Like the seal in Quebec, the cod tongue texture and flavour could be challenging to a come from away. I lived in St John's 10 years and didn't dislike cod tongues, but didn't take a big liking to it either. I suppose if a cook could take these off piste meats and make them tasty for an outsider, that would be saying something. But I'm still not convinced I'd hold it against a restaurant simply because I hadn't acquired a taste for it yet.

I had seal while living in Newfoundland. It's a very strong taste, and not familiar to those not used to eating it. I think he should have gone for a more traditional game meat.

Love the series but a few things are missing, for example none of the contesters has been asked how they prep for speed, thoughts about the assembly process and the biggest one, what's the cost to produce every item incl. staff/truck/groceries and customer price, the margin are crucial.
