In the US; weapons are manufactured by private companies owned by the deep state. They also own the media. Whatever they produce, the intention is doing business and earning money. That’s why they more often than not release systems that actually are not very good. However, their media publicizes it as the best in the world and unbeatable. Then the government is kind of forced to buy such faulty systems spending taxpayers money without their consent. Recently, an M1 Abrams tank was destroyed by a Russian T72 with the first shot in Ukraine. Then they went on destroying many more which forced Zelensky to withdraw those junk from the frontline. Unbelievable? Believe it.

My Unit, 116th EN BN, 116th Regiment, was tied to the 6th ID, Fort Richardson. It was a blast! But then again, I love winter. We got to go to Alaska and train with the 6th. Very important role protecting the northern boundary ares tho. Even more now

a friend is a sergeant and told me a couple months ago they've been refocusing on trench, woodland and arctic warfare. a big emphasis on counter drone tactics. its looking like we're prepping to land in ukraine. i hope to god we aren't. our recruitment is already pretty shit. don't want entire platoons getting evaporated by tactical nukes which will 100% happen if we're stupid enough to engage in direct war with russia
