I love this song. I just learned how to play it on the piano and it brought back a bit of my childhood :). Sadly, she passed away years before I was born, but I grew up with their music, and this song was always my favorite.

I remember downloading these videos over a slow internet just to learn the flick maneuver… good old days, back in 2008-09. A lot about my life has changed since then.

The ridiculous thing is, they made such great singers lip sync and it's obvious in this video.

Karen's disease was manifesting already in this video. She looked thin and frail, but still gave her best.😢.

She married a loser. The husband used her for her money, spending it like a drunken sailor. She wanted children and didn't reveal to her he had performed a vasectomy after they got married-sad life for Karen.

Their second #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 from early 1973. It was playing when I was shopping at the supermarket yesterday! I have my Carpenters shirt, and I just received "The Carpenters - The Musical Legacy" about 400 page book earlier this week!
