My mom did this years ago using border paper that was big in the 90s. She cut it to fit the drawers, and it looked like an expensive piece. 😊

How I miss the craft shows of the 90's!! I was a stay-at-home mom then, and watched Alleen, Heidi and Tiffany every chance I got. Of all the different crafts they did on their show, this technique was and still is my favorite. I'm planning to create some new content with this technique in mind!! Happy Crafting!

Hello there ladies, Question????????? I did the foax forged metal box. loved it. did it with my daycare kids for mothers day, I had problems with the lid closing on the box. i noticed your box lid sat on the top. my boxes fitted on top the foil was to much for it to close . do you have any suggestions I could use. love your videos. thanks for sharing your love of crafting with us
@Cool2Craft10 ай бұрын
Hi Joanne - can you remove the foil in the area where it is too tight and paint the box black in that area? Also, take a pencil and run it over the crumpled foil to see if you can get it to lay smoother. - Tiffany

Love love love. Thank you for sharing a great idea. I have lots of sari ribbon I plan to use.. I never thought of using the rim of it plastic cup. I have a large hand so most bangle bracelets do not go over my hand. In the past I have used zip ties as they are flexible and you can cut them to any length some of them come in different widths. Love love

It's beautiful. I made one of those duct tape mannequins to my size. It's not something I want to repeat anytime soon I want to put decoupage over it to make it look better. I figure if I pull the duct tape a little tighter that when I add the decoupage, it won't add that much to the size. In short and chubby. I won't fit anything from a standard mannequin, and I only sew for myself as a hobby. The decoupage will make the duct tape version look more desirable.
@Cool2Craft3 ай бұрын
Wow! How cool that you made your own mannequin. The decoupage really brings the shape to life!
