Only way to fix it is to start over with a different actress who actually watched The Clone Wars and understands the character. Ahsoka wasn’t some dour emo arrogant angry a&& hole; she was a fundamentally positive, centered individual with good character that let that character guide her loyalty to her friends and her opposition to those that would hurt them. Plus Rosario Dawson can’t handle a light saber choreography to save her life. Her fighting looks ridiculous.

He makes some points but his first point is funny. From a story telling perspective having the Jedi be more emotional and less disciplined is good for plot. But then we’re just saying the character was written as “too” close to the light side to be entertaining.

The Character is fine. The problem is the writing. How about hiring real writers instead of the woke activist they are using now.

You're right. Compare Ahsoka's reaction to seeing Ezra again to her reaction in Rebels when she saw Rex again. Even the animation revealed much more emotion, but subtle and overt, than Rosario Dawson did in live action. I don't think that's Dawson's fault. I think for some reason Ahsoka as a character is being directed to be an "inscrutable wizened monk" trope instead of the Ahsoka she's been in the Clone Wars and Rebels. They've made her more like Yoda, when she'd always been more like Anakin. And, no, an additional ten years wouldn't make that difference. In fact, Dawson played Ahsoka more as we knew her during her guest spot on The Mandalorean under different direction. Your comments about Sabine are even more cogent.

i have had a hard time getting over the age. from the first time she was introduced in love action (mandalorian) i thought she was to old. in rebels she appears to be maybe 10 years older than sabine, within 5 of hera. in live action she looks 10-15 years older than sabine an 10 years older than hera. she is supposed to be 5years younger than anakin but looks more like 5 years older than anakin.

How to fix Ashoka. Hire a different actress. Her lightsaber skills were abysmal.

The saddest part of what has happened to the Star Wars legacy is that today's audiences are unable to discern between good writing, storytelling, editing, acting and this crap. I understand that there will always be an audience for bad movies and tv shows, it's how garbage like 'The Rings of Power' manage to get made. Movie and television audiences have been conditioned by a very long string of badly written productions that happen to have the Star Wars trade mark 'attached' to them, because that's all they have in common with the spirit of the original trilogy. That people continue to support this trash has given me an insight into just how far the fan base has eroded. I can't wait to see how they react to the next regurgitation of the untalented 'misdirectors' and 'actorvists' that brought you identity politics, gender/race swapping and idiotic plot twists. They can call it 'Woke Wars...a New Trope' starring Ru Paul as the cross-dressing Ruke Skydragger/Luke Skywalker, with Bosco in the role of Obosco-Wantsome Knobby/Obi-Wan Kenobi and Lil Wop with his rendition of a vegan Screwcacca/Chewbacca or Screwy for short as they gayly flit about about the galaxy spreading ‘THE MESSAGE’……..and a few STDs. she hulk presents women in an unfavorable light- would anyone like to see our children mock the behaviors of anyone on the show? the attorney doesn't come close to reality. if the characters were more realistic. than maybe we could watch this with our family.Its Disney- wholesome entertainment really? Alter the characters to be more realistic. Women being always "angry", the competition between her and her cousin was fun. but why would a law office want She Hulk to be an outward image- demeaning Jens law degree- and her life of using her hulk personality to get dates?

I totally disagree. Marvel needs more light-hearted, funny superheroes. Everything can't be this serious drama, world in peril, universe about to be destroyed story-lines. Endgame, multi-verse of madness covers those angles. This show is for younger generation, not the 25 to 40 demographics (Deadpool, etc.) Yes, they could take a "Perry Mason" type approach to her story-lines, which would give a cerebral touch where she uses her brain and secretly used her power to solve extraordinary crimes.

Missed opportunity seemed to be the buzzwords for this show and it was frustrating. Especially when you consider having Tatiana Maslany who is a brilliant actress trying to prop up this poorly written garbage.
