Tres bien dans les regle de l'art !! quelle est la marque de votre pate à joint bleu pour l'étanchéité du passe fil ? PS : vous avez vernis avec un vernis 2K aussi ?

Pour la pate à joint : de mémoire, c'est la marque Loctite. Pas besoin de vernis, peinture 2K brillant direct (celle utilisée est en satinée). Peinture spéciale tout support destinée à la base pour les étriers de frein, teinte RAL au choix.

interessant et utile , je pense pour certains qui veulent s'y mettre ; mais la cale sous les pots , moyens 😄une plus étroite sur les tubes du châssis , c'est quand même mieux

Malgré les apparences la cale ne prend pas appui sur les tubes 😉. Par contre il en faut une plus courte pour déposer les coudes d'échappement. Merci pour le com. ✌

Bonjour, je viens d'acheter une 360xs, je suis en train de refaire le haut moteur. Je ne trouve pas les guides chaînes de distribution en neuf, si par hasard vous avez un plan pour en avoir ça m'intéresse. Merci pour la série de vidéo 👍

Malheureusement je n'ai pas d'adresse pour les pièces. C'est le problème des modèles très peu diffusés (250 exemplaires en France ...). A savoir que la 400 XS partage une majorité de pièces avec la XS 360 dont les guides chaine, ne reste que les anciens stocks ou l'occasion ... Bonne continuation dans votre projet.

that small thin disc piece on the very top of the carb cover does not have any housing directly under it. It is bad design from bing. It can become lose and let water into your carb and/or stop the slide working. So you could say that you're's is an improved model.

Well spoted ! When i made the model i had no idea of the exact shape, so i made it closed ... I remember some of these carbs have that washer in steel or plastic.

No they are both connected to one singular pin. As it would seem logically yes it should but the way Harleys are designed it cannot

There is no sound a potato makes it’s simply one strange person’s concept of hearing the actual sound its actually a pop and Varys on the muffler

Tried and true design that had been stolen from Indian Motor Co in the past it’s a great design and is iconic nowadays it’s why they have been perfecting it ever since.

Good music. So, this would be what's called a single pin crank, where both pistons are attached to the same pin, right? I understand there are also dual pin cranks such as exist in the Honda VTX 1800. Your animation shows the pistons firing just slightly apart. I would have expected them to fire directly opposite of each other for engine balance, but now that I see they are on the same pin, that would not be possible. Is there an advantage, or disadvantage, to a single vs a dual either way?

Interestingly, yes, the VTX 1800 is dual pin, but it’s little brother the VTX 1300 is a single pin, so the two have fairly different sounds.
