Y’all learn about mosquitofish. It’s an invasive species and breeds like rabbits so you catch them all over the US for free bait. (Don’t use them in water that doesn’t already have them though- very invasive and they fuck shit up eating fish eggs)

Great information!! I have the most trouble with Bluegills. They have such small mouths that if they get gut hooked it's almost impossible for me to remove the hooks. I've resorted to just cutting the line and releasing them. Good to know they will probably live.

Thats about all i do is creek fishing. Not many lakes or ponds around me... rock bass and small mouths are fun to catch. Sometimes carp fish and catch almost 3 footers.

I have been thinking about doing a video for the last few days because its crazy how many channels have bad or overwhelming information in videos focusing on beginners. Its good to see a video that isn't telling you to spend hundreds of dollars on gear and lures to start fishing. Especially since often times the most effective bait is live.
