1:06 the crowd is in the correct key signature of the key Bmaj7 (they scream a C# and G#, which is in the correct key B major, making it Bmaj9add13 chord) but kenny G isnt (plays an A natural as opposed to an A# which contrasts with the a# in the key )

0:27 - Needs a chord transcription. I want to know what he is doing in the background with the clean tone chords. The clean chords in the background is the secret sauce in the steak.

Theres a guy tritonefascination that has a lesson on the chord voicings that he got from the demo. There used to be a Venus Isle demo floating around on youtube that has been taken down for copyright. It's early instrumental demo's of the songs, I wish I downloaded all of them because I can't find them anywhere on the internet.

I really wish I understood jazz. It intrigues me more than it appeases my ear, although I still appreciate it for a while. Technically, I believe this is beautiful, skilled, and complex, but it's like the sound that these three factors make are not 100% what I find sonically beautiful. But jazz keeps intriguing me.

Julian, for the most part, is playing lyrical and purposely staying away from the pyrotechnics, leaving that to Mike, these guys melt together as someone said. Now excuse me while I throw my guitar in the river. Jes' kiddin
