Just like Canadian wagering controlled by the government but they only support the major track so we really only have one racetrack in Canada. Politicians in Canada are motivated by self interest not building an industry.

Biggest mistake ever we should of kept Sunday Silence in America he had alot good babies he ran 1:09 flat at 6f as a two year old Charlie thought that Sunday was his first Triple Crown Winner

Excellent presentation ! I think foaling in such cold temperatures is of benefit due to lack of bad bugs and bacteria in their environment They look so endearing in their little jackets. This Northern Farms set up has to be seen to be believed !@@Amazing

They breed to race, not race to breed like what goes on here in the US. Japan does it the right way. Plus it didn't hurt that Sunday Silence went to stand at stud there.

There must be thousands of stallions in the world i wonder what they do with them all after breeding OR if they cant breed. I feel sorry for them and the poor mares, thats all they do. SAD when so young.

That little Canadian bred horse Northern Dancer the greatest sire of the 20th century had a lot to do with Japanese racing through his son Northern Taste just like he did with the rest of the world' His bloodline can be found sometimes not just once but sometimes 2 or 3 times in many horses through out the world A lot of these horses mentioned not only are from Sunday Silence bloodline but Northern Dancer appears in them too sometimes more than once Maurice ,Northern Dancer appears in his bloodline 4 times throgh his sons Sadler Wells , Danzig Lyphard and Northern Taste

Thats how you make a $1m purchase into a Stallion worth $20 million, as Jmac said a terrible ride 3 wide the trip but when you have class underneath you you can get away with a bad ride. If only he came a year later when Winx was retired, he would have been great too see in a Cox Plate, i seen his filly that sold for i think $230k at the sales one of the last fillies to sell for $230 at the Sales was Winx could he produce a champion in his first crop.
