It does not withstand disasters, the new reality. Nor large hailstones accompanied by hurricane-force winds. I wonder which of the two damages the system will prefer first, large hail or hurricane wind 😁. In both cases, bankruptcy.

Great question - We typically manufacture only the solar mounting gear. You can attach a inverter or battery to the back of our unit using a board. If you go to our website www.clenergy.com and check out under Media > Images for other ground mount installations you can get an idea of how to set that up.

can you wire 2 of the jeri solar panels in parallel to charge at 240w?
@Clenergy
@Clenergy 5 ай бұрын
Thanks for the question! If the goal is to increase the charging speed, hybrid charging can help achive this. USB-C along with any of the other inputs. We cannot wire 2 x jeri solar panels in parallel to expand to 240W.

Solar farm posted wasted a lot of land area... Land below should be use for agriculture
@sergiomomesso1590
@sergiomomesso1590 7 ай бұрын
I agree when it's good productive soil. But not when it is not, like desert or look the soil at this video. Yellow, for sure it will be not the most productive soil and the land look like so dry. We even see it with the so little vegetation on the ground at this place. Solar panels will be way more productive at this place.
@Clenergy
@Clenergy 5 ай бұрын
Thanks Sergio. That is a good point, and is one of many factors viewed when assessing the right land for a renewable project. Whether it is building a fossil fuel plant on the land vs renewable, whether renewable farm or agriculture, whether it is renewable or building infrastructure. In this situation, like many, it is a very remote location away from urban cities. The location in this video is approved by local government. Typically when it comes to these sites - the selection process goes through many layers of diligence by the local stakeholders. When construction of a site like this project managers work with surveyors, structural & civil engineers who research the soil, wind conditions and the overall geographic landscape and provide reports. When in doubt about solar farms in your area, always reach out to your local government who is typically in the conversation about these sites, and voice your opinion in the right forum so you can make productive change - if that what is concluded from your research.

Do you recommend clamps be installed on a sheet rib overlap ? What about above the perlin ?
@Clenergy
@Clenergy 9 ай бұрын
Overlap joints should be avoided in majority installations but we do have some specific roof sheets that have been engineered to allow this. Installing above the purlin is highly recommended as this is the strongest part of the roof and sheet attachment. Hope this helps. But the others here on KZfaq, At the moment, with most products, the materials used can be found on the datasheets through our 'downloads' page. Another route: (Australia Only) you can use our bills of materials generator - 'ezQuote' to source more detailed product information, kits, etc. You can view the the links below. how do the mounts go in an earthquake ?
@Clenergy
@Clenergy Жыл бұрын
Hi Keith, Thank you for contacting us with your question about how our solar mounting (PVezRack) holds up against earthquakes. As a company, we take great pride in the quality and safety of our products, and we understand how important it is to ensure that our mounts can withstand natural disasters like earthquakes. We are happy to inform you that our solar mounts are designed and built with vibration-resistant techniques. We recommend a variety of materials and construction methods that have stood the test of time. To give you a bit of background, from the technical side, the predominant force and assessment for Australia is the wind uplift, or wind actions according to AS1170.2. For earthquake-prone areas where the earthquake load can be the dominant factor, we run a site-specific analysis and add further support/bracing to the system to ensure it complies with ASNZ4219 seismic loading. For New Zealand, we include earthquake assessments as part of our default certification as this requirement is mandatorily derived from the ASNZ5033 standard - Installation of PV in Australia and New Zealand. We just celebrated our 15th anniversary, and we have never experienced any movement of our mounting structure due to earthquakes in Australia. We understand that safety is a top concern for our clients, and we want to assure you that we take every possible measure to ensure that our solar mounts are built to the highest standards of safety and durability. To source first-hand reviews from installers across Australia, we invite you to join the Facebook group ‘Clenergy Club’, Where you can post your query and receive direct feedback. If you were looking for PVezRack products near you, and wanted to speak to a distributor, who could give you more information, Please go to www.clenergy.com.au/distributors/ or you can email our Tech team at [email protected] or call us on 03 9239 8088 Thank you for considering our products for your building needs. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns. Best regards, Clenergy Comms Team

What part of the energy intensive manufacturing of quartz -> poly silicon -> poly silicon ingots -> wafers -> solar cells is “green” or “CO2 free”? I’ll tell you! It all happens in China so you can’t see the pollution! 🙈
@Clenergy
@Clenergy Жыл бұрын
Hi @microburn - Thank you for the comment - Its not really connected to our business as we manufacture all the mounting gear of trackers and roof mounts etc. We do not manufacture polysilicon. However, we will respond to this statement on behalf our industry, if we may. Most of the manufacturers in this space have intensive environmental social governance policies as do we, and the majority of the ethical players in our industry are actively making sure that the energy we source to fuel our manufacturing uses comes from renewable sources. Apart from the green energy used to power our offices and factories, we exercise good water management, try to make a majority of our packaging compostable, and strive towards most of the united nations' sustainability goals, and many other social impact initiatives. We actively participate in social responsibility programs where we push for renewables across remote schools in the pacific to give kids a modern education ( @itstimefoundation), we provide solar systems to various affected individuals around the world who have been hit with natural calamities (Ex: Australian Bush Fires) and even pushing the narrative towards the electrification of transportation with partnering with Monash University students who build EVs (@MonashMotorsport) and so much more. With the solar industry, just like many other industries the manufacturing world lives within Asia, which supplies the rest of the world. When end users purchase our products they are also buying the carbon used to create that renewable product. It is often said that it costs more in fossil fuels to manufacture solar products than they save over the life of the system. Contrary to the critics, research shows that the carbon footprint of solar is lower than coal or gas with carbon capture and storage (CCS). This remains true after accounting for emissions during manufacture, construction, and fuel supply. It takes only about one year to cancel the carbon footprint necessary to produce a panel. (Ref: www.nature.com/articles/s41560-017-0032-9) With the urge to act against climate change, solar power is a solution accessible to (almost) everyone. We encourage you to reconsider your position and we hope you act for a green planet. For more on Clenergy sustainability programs please go here - www.clenergy.com.au/sustainability/

why use black rails and then install panels where you can see the white dividers on the wafers? maybe an all black panel would have offered a more complete "all black" effect. not that Im knocking the excellent LG panels.
