good video & agree on all of the upgrade, i am have of them :) i am the owner of 10inch and 16 inch dobsonian, recommend to anyone who still wants to have a dobsonian + has to travel to escape light pollution, spend a little bit more and get a 14<->16inch truss tube with a light shroud, fits in almost any car and you can do the set up urself. any bigger and becomes awkward to transport. The best telescope is one you will use most often. if it is not truss tube, 12 inch would be the max or else will not fit in your car. If money is not a problem, get a 12inch + schmidt cassegrain with EQ Mount (you can still do visual but can also switch over to astrophotography if u wanted to. I am not rich enough to do the above but my friend has 14 inch celestron schmidt cassegrain and the view is much better/clearer/crisp than even my 16 inch dobsonian.... and he very limited collimation issues (only has sometimes for secondary mirror) so he only has to wait for the cooling of the mirrors. I envy him but he spent $20k USD on his set up....i only spent $3k and get a "similar" view with my 16 inch dob.

No I am a survivor. Sleep in 130 degree house . Eat out ice chest. Use bottle water and use no.rince soap as holding out to get a new battery for my well generator. Surving fires all around me. Life is good.
