Why anyone should be surprised that as the writer and star of the movie, she got little more than what she was paid. We need to stop supporting and buying into the lies the production companies (both movie and music) tell us how we hurt the artists by downloading. No... they dont' get what they should unless they're mega stars. ASCAP/BMI and all the rest are nothing organizations of lawyers and accountants using horrorible scare tactics forcing small businesses to buy thier expensive licenses under the admonishment that they protect the rights and income of the artists. They do nothing of the sort. The keep the bulk of the money they extort from people, just like the recording companies, the movie production companies, the book publishing companies, etc. If you want to support your hero, then do something more constructive. Stop throwing your money at the companies and send it directly to the artists instead.

I first saw this band at The Ace of Clubs in Nashville in the '80s. Loved them then. Still do. I've moved and downsized a couple of times since then, but I still have my copies of the 3 CDs I bought at that show that they autographed for me. What a great memory! I enjoyed their transition to the more straightforward jazz Boston Horns, but was really happy to see that they resurrected HMH. Keep on rocking the free world!

I prefer Oatmeal Raisin! :) I find that a lot of my customers, prefer Oatmeal Chocolate Chip but Oatmeal Raisin is not easily found with gluten-free vegan baking so I still offer both. I agree with you on the quality of the ingredients. Pure vanilla extract and old-fashioned oats just make an oatmeal cookie taste better! Great video!

Great stuff. Love Cassandra. The TV show, the pilot was good. No doubt. Buuuut yeah far too risqué for reg network tv in 1992 I think. Would have been great for like Showtime or HBO. Like Super Dave. When u watch it her boobs were hardly even the issue. It was chalked full of sexual innuendo. And that just wasn’t on network tv back then. Fox network would have been a better fit.
