The white wire is part of the harness that comes from the ignition switch and is part of the ignition switch , if you checked the white wire and have no voltage, get a ignition switch, and that will include the harness.

So how did you fix the white wire? I have the same issue with my 98 obs Chevy with the 350 but what do I do after I find the white wire? Do I replace the wire or the whole harness?

When my bottom pulley went out due to the high torque of the engine it actually took out the key way and got loose on the crankshaft from overheat & over the years, and it seems to be an ongoing process with any engine that has a extreme amount of fast throttle response if it runs aluminum flywheels resistance in the drive train to take an absorption of the torque and it goes right to the rear tires, that's the ones that eat it front counter weghi and pulleys, what grabs in the fastest torque is about a quick snap to the front weight, I've had to repair a few, so I've learned over the years, I'm 75 now I'm totally disabled nice truck I like it.

Yes, you have a very valid concern there.the rim is a very strong attachment point, but do have to be careful as the suspension parts could be damaged tie rod, control arm, but on this particular car, there are no other attachment points provided and the way it was located in the ditch there was no way to run the cable under the front bumper cover would’ve been damaged from the cable coming up out of the ditch, so yes care has to be taken when pulling on the rims usually a straight pull is the best

I am in no way a professional towing guy, or an ameture one for that matter, but it seems risky to pull the car out of the ditch with the only point of connection being that strap threaded through the wheel. It seems like a ton (literally) of weight to have on a single wheel. Is there not some chance of those lug nut/bolts shearing or the rim bending or snapping or maybe the same happening to a tie rod? Again, im no professional, but it just seems like there is, even in the circumstances of this video, a better place to have put that strap.
