I heard bags need cement in the sand....is this true with soil?

Moldy rare books and fragile statuary I can see, but … otherwise it looks like trying to scrape off paint with an ice-pick.

Notice how much more effective directing the water jet from a direction more parallel to the surface as in shaving or scraping rather than directly on top of the contamination… When using a scraper or something similar this seems to be instinctive, but give them a water jet and many of them seem to think it’s just like spraying paint or breaking up rock…

That oval building is not strong. I saw it move. There must be barbed wire tying it together.

If they are filled with dirt when they get wet they will turn to mud and then when they dry out and deteriorate it will become an adobe house

That's a good one at the end there....reduced skilled labour on site, ya I see that in many earthbag, tire wall, rammed earth, bottle wall, straw bail and other eco build systems, the people setup a workshop and get most of their labour for free. I wonder if once they have their house built if they actually go help anyone else?

For straight walls, I suspect rammed earth would be easier--especially if you have front-end loader to dump the soil into the forms. But if want round walls or a dome, earth bags are the way to go. And they are probably less fussy about the clay to sand ratio.
@puntabachata7 ай бұрын
Hyperadobe bags would be another option. Much faster and easier to fill but more sensitive to soil type, possibly requiring some cement to be mixed wirh the soil.

Not even close. First you cover them with player and a roof. Second these are also compressed and mixed with soil. Look up CEBs.

Great ingenuity. It’s crazy in the United States and many other places in the world houses cost hundreds of thousands of dollars if not billions whereas some people can build their own makeshift house for thousands of dollars. Much better than living in the forest.

This schizophrenia is only in English speaking countries. So, you can make Silicate Bricks and Aerated Concrete from Sand. And then make houses out of these cubes. And Panel houses (Concrete - Insulation - Concrete) are finally made in 2 days. The foundation (4 - 30 days = drying. Or made from ready-made elements) is delivered and built. 2-3 days, apartment 40 m2 ready. Well, a week for 100 m2. Well, modern Americans make houses out of bags and sand %)) (In principle, you can make houses from Clay and Wood and Sawdust. Hehe. But why?) All these problems can be easily solved.
