How come he can’t with the Arnold’s or Rouge?
@rossthebossstrongmanАй бұрын
Great question. There have been a lot of athletes in the past who are better at either Arnold's or worlds but not always both. Another reason and what I believe to be the main one, is Tom focuses everything for wsm. He only ever does a full preparation for wsm and doesn't focus on staying in peak shape for months on end like a lot of other athletes. His main focus is wsm. That is my observation anyway. 👍

Carl goes to my gym, we train at different times but good to finally meet him and Camilla. I enjoy using the strong man kit they have there. Strongman training is an awesome add on for anyone, no matter what your training goals, and breaks the monotony of general weight training. People should do more strong man training whether they want to compete or not.

Evan looks better than ever and he’s not wasting energy like a WWE showman. If he continues to conserve energy, he could win. The bet for me is Hooper, Tom, Evan for top 3. Luke is serious this as he usually acts clownish. Luke could have a higher placing than ever, but Ivars and the Ukrainian and Ragg will likely be his main competition. I appreciate your clips and your assessment is top notch.

Gary Taylor was about 6' which is short for a strongman, but what you may not know is that he was a Silver medalist in Olympic Weightlifting for Wales, so that explains his mastery over any form of rhe olympic lifts

Every year I feel like we get complaints on refs with an overhead event. It's tough, especially for a single judge to decide. Last year they gave Hooper a very questionable circus dumbbell. But can't blame the athlete. If they get the down signal, gotta just sell it at that point like you crushed it. Great video, man! Also it was power stairs that screwed Novikov in 2022.

Well if that's how you feel then they should also remove all weight classes from ufc, boxing, powerlifting, weightlifting, etc. That way those athletes don't get an opportunity to compete against other athletes in their category for the world title either. Obviously, you have never been a world class athlete and were never even close. Thanks for the comment!
