It makes me so confuse that this dance is created to honor the Quirino province while the origin of the dance is from Dupax, Nueva Vizcaya. Quirino province was only created in 1966, which was formerly part of NV. Does this mean that they took this dance out of its original place and to honor the newly separated province?? I think I need to research more on this.

as someone from the bangsamoro region, the choreography of this dance is very inauthentic and poorly done. pangalay ha patong is danced more gracefully than this and the kulintangan is not even in tune with the sama and tausug style. some of the clothes are not even the reflective of the maritime tribes. disappointing
