I set up my cantina like an alternate reality. I have just random aliens and droids and Jedi in there and re make some scenario from an alternate universe

Characters you keep referring to as 'he' though they are listed as female, even in your reference images: 1. Kabe the little bat creature 2. Wioslea the multi eyed creature 3. Kitik Keed'kak (Yam'rii) the Praying Mantis

Man, I hadn't considered the OUTSIDE of the Cantina... If I were a rich man (buh daba dabu dabu deebu dah), I don't think I could resist the urge to put Jay and Silent Bob in front of the place.

Damn, I love Fiddler on the Roof. It was on TV plenty of times when I was playing on my bedroom floor with the original Kenner figures back in the late 70's. Catchy song...

Flying Fist He-Man was the last He-Man Variant I purchased of the original line. He did have a feature which was turning his body and making his arms flail up and down. I actually asked for him because he reminded me of Battle Armor He-Man which was my brother's he-man that broke. Although the 200x toy series did a variation of this he-man and Skeletor, I don't think it was called flying fist but it have the weapons

The lighting effect is so strange. The same thing happened with Captain Kirk's standard shirt. It looks gold in the TV footage, but it's actually green. Toy makers are missing out when they don't produce both versions of a character.

Everytime I think of giving Scott a hard time for being so obsessed with finding the perfect representation of cantina characters (some of them with mere seconds on screen) I remember that I once spent $50 to get a NECA Arnold Schwarzenegger Predator figure with the proper fingerless black gloves to part swap to my other NECA Arnold Schwarzenegger Predator figure. 🤣🤭

For a while they did have a shared universe but it splintered as egos clashed, all of them were saying they had the most powerful character or what have you. Liefeld was the one who made the most of it with the Spawn/Chapel thing until he went full Extreme, then Homage made it’s own corner with whatever Jim Lee designed and Larsen was open to that stuff as long as g as he could tell his Dragon stories with no compromise - he went beyond Image U having the TMNT and Hellboy showing up. From the second gen of Image creators only Pitt and Maxx played ball - I don’t know if Chapel is still Al Simmons killer. Some of that stuff must be embarrassing for the creators nowadays.

Which do you think will be worth more (in general or on average) in twenty years: MOTU Origins or MOTU Cartoon Collection? My guess is the latter, based on my guess that the Cartoon Collection has lower sales than Origins, figure by figure.

Battle Armor He-Man was my first He-Man and always held a special place in my toys. Thunder punch, probably because I loved that gold Power Sword and red armor, became my favorite variant. Funnily I didn't remember Flying Fists He-Man until I started looking at vintage He-Man material as an adult.

Mattel still owns the rights to motu, origins is still going strong with sellouts, turtles of gray skull is killing it, new motu cartoon collection at sdcc, masterverse is putting classics to shame and there’s no sign of it slowing down. So scooter can you explain why nothing you claimed in the past has come to fruition? I thought you were the Mattel know it all. 😂😂😂😂. And no response as usual.

It was an exciting time. The end of my comic buying days was the last book McFarlane drew. It coincided with the early high school timeframe when many "move on" to other things. I have gone back to see things McFarlane drew like covers. His style changed some in that Frank Miller Batman crossover, some very cartoonish elements I wasn't digging. Toys are good but Mc's an artist. Yeah, Van Halen, that keyboard work is cool, but we're all here to hear that guitar man.

So I was 10 when Image formed, but I was also just starting to get into comics. So yes, Image was massively hype to me and my friends. I totally thought it was a shared universe at first. So ya, I was disappointed when all these cool books just disappeared and reduced down to a few titles. None the less the era stuck with me and was a major reason I finally started making my own comic books. I still idolize all those 90’s artists too.

Marvel and D.C. have 1,000's of the coolest looking characters they never give play, and all of them are unique. IMAGE COMICS IS MY FAVORITE COMIC BOOK COMPANY. but They would still have to make many better/unique looking characters, because out of all the characters I see about 20% look cool - about 20% look unique, and the villains of Image Comics were/are horrible.... Every superhero universe has esential IPS and IMAGE didn't have a number of them and the ones it did have, they weren't iconic enough.. Every KZfaq content creator also says the stories were/are average at best and you can't build a universe on average at best comic books when a large percentage of your characters aren't bringing anything new to the table.
