You guys did good for being there the first time, I was surprised that you didnt have a trolling motor at first, not the place to be not having one. Topwater is usually always on fire out there. Walking baits, ploppers, and even speed worms buzzed across the hydrilla will catch fish and most likely your bigger ones. Just remember to always work your topwaters will some good pauses, thats when they will get destroyed. Another little tip is your not allowed to keep bass in your livewell along with there is a 25 mph speed limit, they do come with speed guns, a lot of googans complain even though you throw a much bigger wake not being on plane.
@nativeoutdoorz
@nativeoutdoorz Ай бұрын
Yea we were struggling there without the trolling motor, it had been in the works for a bit so it was nice to get it and be able to go back. Thank you for the heads up about the live well and speed limit, didn’t know either of those things.

Currently getting my 05 sea pro sv2100 repowered with the 200 zuke. Console with the acrylic is what I tried to get my installer to do but they don’t offer it. Went with new analog gauge set because it’s the mechanical engine. Definitely will be trying to copy your dash. Great boat and great restoration man!

For the Acrylic windshield you should be able to get it from any shop that does acrylic work for around $200-$300. The black acrylic on the dash I got from Amazon. It was a little wider than the dash so we used a jig saw to cut it and make the cutouts for the gauges/garmin. Just be very careful and patient, I broke the first one we tried to do because I got to confident and rushed it.

@toddbashem1430

I try not to stress them if possible. These fish are able to dissolve hooks fairly rapidly and continue to eat during their healing process. I was informed of this by a fresh water fish biologist. Crushing the barb has made the biggest difference in harming catch and release gamefish for me personally, though.
