1978 Yamaha RD250, 1977 Suzuki GT550, 1990 Yamaha TDR 250, all great bikes with unique sounds and smells.

I rode an RG 500 in in 1986 once and I will never forget how fast it was and then how slow my DR 600 was when I got back on it And how little it was going to cost to buy it but I still wouldn’t have kept it or probably my license either

I have a Kymco People hopped up 50cc 2-stroke scooter with 16-in wheels and tires and roughly 20 other two wheelers and dare I say it I have as much FUN on that scooter as I do on anything I own....YMMV

I had a RD500LC back in the late 80s. They didn't handle very well. Beast of a bike. But they sound and smell lovely.

Yhat is a gorgeous crispy critter! I love the street 2Ts, so manic when they are on the pipe. Still riding my 300 XC dirt bike, it gets ridden "on the bubble" a lot, just at the onset of the powerband. It gets terrifying pretty quick when it's on the pipe with the throttle wound..

you have to be doing over 100mph in 5th before the power band comes in, in my day the grim reaper rode an RD500, if I was a millionaire my car would rev like an RD, I even called my dog Elsie.
