For me the best Kung Fu game was on the Nintendo Entertainment System, it's also the same game with the same sounds as the arcade game i played at Silcocks fun fair arcades.

NES Version is a game of its own! The game had the flickering issues due to the limitation of NES. The BG music was dope but megadrive version music is badasss!

The screen pans out in Samurai Shodown when the characters get further away from each other, so there's no excuse IMO for not expanding the field of view outward in any of the ports to consoles that support 16:9.

Yesterday, I played the SNES port and I didn't expect much, but it was fun. Back then in the arcades, I was obsessed with this game (like with Mortal Kombat 1&2, Killer Instinct etc.) and I got the Megadrive version for following christmas. It was downgraded, but still good. Nice times!

There are quite a few more ports missing in this video such as the unlicensed Sega SG-1000, Jakks Pacific, PlayStation 2, Xbox and PSP versions. I think this video deserves a remake.

Impressive. The guy who did the original one said the only reason he did 2 levels was because they wouldn't give him more than a 4k ROM and he didn't have the time to do it the right way.... But this version is excellent here.... especially for the 2600.
