I own a 04 Silverado and I’m experiencing the same thing but my taillights are halogen except for the reverse and side marker, the only thing that I would think it would affect is probably the headlights since it’s all led, I added a flasher relay but would it be best to add resistors on the headlights ?
@TonyTheTruckGuyКүн бұрын
I could be wrong, but I don't believe the headlights are ties into the cruise control, just brake lights. If the cruise suddenly quit working after bulb replacement, then I'm certain it's light related, but if cruise has not been working for a while, it is likely something else. I'd start by checking the brake light fuse in the fuse box under the hood. Should be a 10A for the center high mount brake light and a 10A for the vehicle stop lamps.

I salute you for teaching this and everything is spot on... Really makes me wonder what mine puts down. I tuned it myself via HP tuners, timings around 22-23 degrees with zero knock and timing adders zeroed out, added a ton of fuel (using a Wide Band to tune WOT) and have it dialed at 12.5 or .85 lambda at WOT, through a NV4500. It surprises me for being a 6500 lb truck.

For those looking here because the wiper arm doesn’t lift up high enough, the fix is to replace the arms with 2010 and later arms (yes they fit). For some reason Chevy replaced the design in 2004 and kept that that design even on the newer model until they reverted back in 2010

Hey, jackass it is illegal in the US to swap Halogen for LED bulbs in headlight assemblies without changing the whole headlight assembly. Because your headlight assembly was designed to reflect and intensify the light emitted from a halogen bulb. Not from an already intense LED bulb blinding everybody else on the road. That's why you can not buy LED bulbs for your non-LED headlights in actual stores. A-hole
