We use supertech in all our bikes here. We have a wideglide 2 sportsters 1200 and 883 and a 1986 honda rebel 450. We use 20 50 in the Harleys and 10 40 in the honda everything shifts smooth and runs great. I was apprehensive at first but am now a convert. I'm also using supertech in all our vehicle's now with no I'll effect. In my opinion the honda seems to shift smother now than before . When doing oil changes I see no more on the oil plug magnets than when we used higher priced brands. Also the oil really seems no worse than the name brands when draining either. In my humble opinion it appears to be a good product at a decent price.

How did you remove the plastic shroud that's mounted on top of the flywheel? Has some weird style clips holding it on place

At first i thought it was the wires under the dash on the passenger side, when i last tackled this issue. Turns put on this vehicle its different and this issue you presented looks to be it!

I checked fuel flow rate before by connecting separate fuel source to Ron the engine with variable pressure electric fuel pump. For example, 2 gal pet hour would be 16oz (2c.) in 3 min., 45 sec. Let the engine run off other fuel source, pumping fuel into a measured container. Don't forget to start your timer when the engine fires up, and SECURE THOSE FUEL LINES!

note for future viewers. most first time brake fluid changers don't know this, but if you pump the hand pump too much you can accidentally suck brake fluid into the hand pump itself and on the cheaper models brake fluid will ooze out of the seals in the hand pump and make an awful mess.

If anyone is doing this as an addition to removing governor (good choice) know that this is enough and that if you leave the stock springs you will not need a billet rod.

@@smallengineshop the main question I have whether I can connect to the electra glide 2010 (j1850) a used matching speedometer (j1850) from other bike (say road king 2010) and do not get a VINERR displayed? p.s. people say it's just a drop in swap, other say - I need special equipment to "merry" speedo with ecm. I wonder if the motor regulator is getting weak and soon down the road it stops again. My truck 2015 F150 rear passenger window clicks when I push the drivers button and the rear button but no movement. At first it would work once in a while then completely stopped. Ironically it started right after the dealer pulled the door panel under recall to fix the weather stripping… of course it’s a window I don’t use often so it was months later when I found out.
@smallengineshop9 күн бұрын
Possibly, but in this case I think it was a stuck window.

I recently replaced all the vacuum lines and it started working, but then after about an hour or 2, everything turned off. I can't tell if the relay is bad or the fuse resistor blew on the blower motor? Any ideas? It seemed to work just fine and then randomly shut off? Fuse isnt blown, Going to replace the resistor & relay to see if thats our problem
