Also… congratulations on two fantastic bucks as well - but in my opinion, those bucks were secondary to what the true trophy is - time with family in the outdoors. So awesome.

Great hunt. I hope to make it out west to hunt elk one day, Always been a dream of mine! The biggest thing that stood out in this video was you saying how your wife gave plasma to help you go on this hunt. You must have an amazing selfless wife!! Congrats!

Once you go after elk once it is in your blood and it will be all you want to do! Just pick an area and dive in with everything you have! The thing I like about elk hunting is the places it brings you.

I look for areas that don’t have a lot of roads going through it, non wilderness, then look for areas where they can bed but have openings near it to feed, water can be something else to look at but most places in Wyoming have good water or springs in the mountains.
