Between this or a 2018 gold wing. Any experience with the gold wings ? Any similarities? Just sold my Harley Electraglide . Don’t love how it handles or the vibration

Dude Goldwings are amazing. They are super comfy, super smooth, and surprisingly agile for their size. With plenty of power and standard equipment, they make very good long distance cruisers. Have you test rode a new Harley? They really dont vibrate anymore.

@@avatarquinn I appreciate the reply. No I have not to be fair: my Electra glide was an 08. I suppose I should test drive a newer one before I make my decision. I do love the road glides. Any year you’d recommend? I can’t go brand new.

This video is by far the best Yamaha Roadstar Warrior review on KZfaq. This guy goes into detail about WHAT IT'S ACTUALLY LIKE TO RIDE THE BIKE. Imagine that? Everyone else talks about doing their laundry, about traffic, the weather, then when it comes do describing the bike or what it's like, they don't have anything to say really. This guy compares the bike to other power cruisers, how it compares to big Harleys, etc. Thank you for your service sir.

Did you add the exhaust from stock and did you notice a difference in power between stock and aftermarket?

"backfires and spits flames,... All kind of cool stuff, manly stuff". No dumbass, backfires are bad tuning, less power, and childish retardation. All you're doing is adding to the hate of bikers when you poorly tune a motorcycle and it makes you look and sound like a douchey moron.

i have a blue 04 with the wind screen, leather saddle bags and a 2nd rider back rest, it still looks pretty good. i think it would look better without the wind screen but give up a little bit of looks for a bug catcher. I'm 6'5 and this is a great bike. I had an m109 also, another awesome bike.

i have a 1700 roadstar that is absolutely not as powerful but it's comfortable... i just got a raider that is definitely more powerful.. the raider is more nimble except slower speed turns, it's a stock chopper what do you expect? obviously you have your warrior set up for you. Do you expect that every bike you throw a leg over is going to be completely ready for you? not a very smart review. i'm sure your warrior is the the only bike for you... spare us all the pain of reviewing other bikes 😕

@avatarquinn
@avatarquinn Жыл бұрын
Listen, I use to joke that the average age of a Buick owner was Deceased. My grandfather was a big lad like me, and he loved big cars. Its a 2005 Park Avenue with all the bells and whistles besides the supercharger (The Ultra). He special ordered this one in 2004 as a 2005 year model (The last for the Park Avenues) but rarely drove it. I inherited it in 2013 with only 23,000 miles on it. I drove it up until I bought a truck to move across the country to California, and when I sold it in 2019 it had only 65,000 miles on her. I never had any issues with the car. Super comfy, it had the upgraded sound system, it had the heads up display on the windshield that showed your speed and such, tons of room for people or things, got good mpg. Cheap to insure. I genuinely miss the car.

I've always had a cruiser and a sport bike, but the problem I would run into is scraping the pipes and primary cover after riding the sport bike for a while. Conversely, after riding the cruiser, it would take a while to get back into leaning into turns on the sport bike. The Yamaha warrior allows one to ride the cruiser yet take advantage of the R1 suspension which might be what tips me into buying a warrior rather than a road star softail.
@avatarquinn
@avatarquinn Жыл бұрын
Im scraping foot pegs before exhaust gets close to road. Ide say a few degrees better than a Softail due to front end setup and balance.
@shnarklevonbarkle110

@@avatarquinn I'll never buy another HD. I picked up a Yamaha Raider a few months ago and while the foot pegs scrape sooner than I'd like, I don't have to concern myself with anything else getting damaged. The Japanese manufacturers simply design and engineer superior bikes.

What are you using for your microphone configuration. How do you keep the wind noise out?
@avatarquinn

I still use this setup! A Scorpion EXO Covert helmet, a GoPro Hero 5, and a Purple Panda lapel mic. Everything is attached to the face mask part that detaches from the helmet itself, making it very easy to change batteries or store it when stopped somewhere. It isnt the safest selection but looks cool and works perfect for POV Vlogging.

What would be better for longer rides the raider or the warrior cause I'm 6'3 280 and I haven't got a bike yet but I was told not to get a 1300cc like I was going to, that I would probably be disappointed and want to move up to something with more power when I sat on the Suzuki 109 that was probably the best feeling position bike I've sat on but that's about the only one I've sat on so far
