Your sling mount slides over the top of your lower piece. Mine doesn’t. So it’s about a 1/4” off from locking back in place

I wanna upgrade my hand guard on my wasr. but I’ve noticed on magpul website it says this handguard doesn’t fit Aks with wrong sling loop. I noticed yours has a front sling loop It still fit. 🤔 is there a specific model handguard I need to know about ?

How did you get the sling on?

Great video sir. I was fortunate enough to pick up a slightly used Palmetto State GF3 with OD green Magpul furniture already on it. The buttstock is slightly different than yours and is adjustable. I have been thinking I'd like to get one that folds but I'll run with this one for now. My first project is to get a side mount picatinny rail kit Sig Sauer Romeo 5 red Dot scope. After that possibly a suppressor. This is my first AK and first rifle of this type. It'll be a nice compliment to my Polish made Mosin Nagant M44 carbine. Have fun!

My short screw is way to short for the rear tang!

You did a great job. The only thing i would recommend to people is when removing the furniture from the gas tube don't put it in the vise like he did. Flip it the other way. Other than that. Nice...

I wouldn’t go so far as to preface your videos with “I’m really good with tools” when you have them literally all over your floor and they all look like they’ve been rusted in the rain . You have a basic understanding at best
