Love the logic here... I was in a protestant church this morning and saw a lot of folks with tattoos there, which is strictly prohibited in the law of Moses. Since I cannot see how could you say that you are using Bible as a standard, because people have been using Bible as a "standard" for quite some time and derived massively different morality from it. When people are reading Bible today, they are constantly deciding which part of Bible they are going to take literally, which part are they going to take metaphorically and which part they are going to simply ignore (huge parts of the Old testament especially). So they are clearly using some sort of moral standard to decide which part to take literally, metaphorically or just to ignore it - in this case they are definitely not relying on morality from Bible, since it's the Bible that they are morally cherry picking. So what is this standard that you are using to decide to ignore some parts of the Bible or take it metaphorically that people historically would've taken literally.

OK I came from China where over 80% of church leaders are women. Now I know we are not lead by culture, but many women are gifted and strong leaders. The woman at the well, the women who delivered news about Jesus were women. Many conservative movements including southern Baptists will let a woman go as a missionary but not allowed them to speak in a church.
