I found your story about your husband interesting . I strayed from my faith & had a conversion i was attacked in my sleep for 2 years before things settled down . I was also attacked in my thoughts . This is called diaboilcal obsession . I had similar experiences to your husband & worse experiences . Every thing feels real . For example if i were hit i could feel it . If i were attacked sexually it felt like i was actually having sex . It was exactly as you would see in a horror movie . One night i felt like i was being dragged off the bed . I actually thought i would be on the floor when i came out of it . When i was attacked i was paralyzed . I would try to scream but couldnt . I had 2 catholic friends who told me to sprinkle holy water around my pillow . It dose actually work . On occasion it would attack a second time but never a third . Its very rare i have an attack these days . Occasionly it tries to communicate by thought . Over time i learnt to shrug it off & ignore it . I got hold of a book by michael yusef PHD called know your real enemy satan . Denons do not want to hear they are going to hell or that the battle was lost when jesus died on the cross for the foregiveness of sins . Satan was defeated . It was all part of gods divine plan . I used to recite prayers in my head . Demons dont like to hear el shadai . God almighty . When i read immutation of christ i had several demons enter my home to try & frighten me off . They were dark shadow like . They would hother above me & follow me from room to room . They would hover in my room at night . They were trying to stop me from forming s perfect union with jesus . I went to see a preist i new . He & another preist came & blessed my home . The demons left . Interestingly they would show up the same time every evening & leave the same time every morning . Mary is the mother of god ,the daughter of god & the spouse of god . Many christains do not believe that god gave ber powers of her own . She has the powere to perform miricles & to grant graces . They also do not accept that god raised her to queen of heaven . Mary also has power over satan . She has satan under foot . God has given his mother the power to personally escort satan to hell on the last day . Mary was always part of gods plan to humiliate satan . He hates our lady . In heaven lucifer was gods ultimate creation until his pride & jealousy got the better of him & he was cast out from heaven . Mary took satans place in heaven . Satan is more afraid of mary than he is of god . Not because he thinks she has more power than god but because she has him under foot. She is the one who is going to crush the head of the serpent . He is going to be crushed & humiliated by a woman who was once a lowly hand maid. As catholics satan dose not want us to concecrate our selves to mary . In doing so you come under her protection . Also known as under her cloak or tunic . I highly recommend to all catholics to consecrate them selves to mary . Get hold of true devotion to mary by father louie de montfort . I also recommend the brown scapular & the immaculate medal . As catholics we can never love mary enough . God wants us to love his mother . I became a catholic at 36 . My mother never had me baptised as a baby . I grew up with a longing to be baptised . My longing led me to the catholic faith . Catholic is the one true church . After the jews condemed jesus to death . The church was born a new . The church was catholic . Upon this rock i build my church . The rock was peter the first pope of the catholic church . Satan attacked the catholic church & the people started to fight amongst them selves . Some went there seperate ways & formed off shoots . Satan has been attacking the catholic church for 2000 yesrs . In the words of jesus the catholic church wil never fall . Since becoming catholic i have made it a piont to learn & know about my catholic faith . If i was going to be cathoilc then i should know about my faith . I have had many people including muslims challenge me about mary & the catholic faith . I have silenced them all . Because i speak the truth according to the teachings & word of god . Amen . I just found your podcast. This year I’ve felt very called to the Catholic Church. I’m still figuring it out. I’m currently listening to Fr. Mike Schmitz’ The Catechism in year podcast. Oh my goodness it’s opened my heart SO MUCH. I was raised evangelical and always heard all these lies about Catholics. I’ve been blown away. Highly recommend. I just wanted to share that I came here to learn about grounding and if it was considered new age as I’m trying to stay away from that. You shared 1 Corinthians 10:14-22 and I just wanted to say tysm! I am trying to teach my Catholic mom about idolatry and without even knowing God put you on my path so that I can share this passage with my mom and bring her closer to accepting Jesus Christ in her heart. The Creed that you are reading was not the original Nicene Creed. The original one said that tge Holy spirit proceeds only through the Father and not the son but your version has "and the son" (which is called in latin filioque), that change was added by the bishop of rome and it is one of the main reasons of the schism between Orthodox and roman Catholic
