Hi ECGadget, thanks for the video. I have a simple question for you. With the same force, for example 8 Nm on DD Pro and 8 Nm on DD+, do you notice the difference in details? Is the DD+ more fun? When I switched from the TGT-II to the DD Pro I was very disappointed, because the TGT-II offered much more details, and it was more fun 🤷🏼

So, as always, thanks for the video. I don't know if you have already implemented eyecandies in other stations/yards, but if you haven't, you should put some eyecandies with trucks and/or coaches behind and park them on some tracks, having some kind of intended static display that doesn't look like a static display if you know what I mean

Lots of empty carriages of different variety. I would also have them on the cargo platforms but just make note of which ones and not use them for your trains. Also the shunting engines, have some with some carriages attached to the front or rear and running to different parts of the marshalling yard, work out where they stop and add asset carriages beyond that to give the impression of decoupling and moving them around. Add some delays to the shunting trains so they don’t always appear to be in use. Asset people as well to give a buzz around the yard, especially during a time when H&S was a bit of an unknown! Just some ideas to start off with.

Engine sheds and more engine turn-tables "though the one for the entire map looks lovely and makes it kinda special" warehouses and spare carriage shelters? By the way, it looks good so feel happy with what you have made 👍

As for the video in general, thank you for showing us everything. I must say that your railway is very, very bigger than I expected and it's beautifully made. As for the viaduct at 30:47 I suggest for the railway to follow the hill's curvature going west for a bit, just to turn back south lining up with the line on the other side of the river, creating a somewhat straight viaduct, I hope I explained myself. Anyway, thanks for the showcase, I needed this as I started looking at your videos only in july of this year, and I wasn't going to see all the previous 155 hours or so, so seeing this gave me a general idea and a better understanding of the project. Thanks again for the video, I'm looking forward to watching the next. Cheers

In time maybe having "local airports" flying over the Green Belt hills in the middle of the map, instead of cutting into the picturesque landscape you have made? Again not at the end yet, bit busy so just writing these notes down here while I'm able too.

Love the Junction are you putting a wall up on platform 7 seen many a UK station with row housing opposite the platforms and a wall in between

With most of those tracks connected, you can use alternate platforms now. Reducing delays into Bracknell is a win for those lines!

Any decent mid-range machine will do. If you are playing at a maximum of 1440p, I would recommend something equivalent to a mid range CPU (Intel or AMD), a mid range GPU (I think something like a 4060 would be able to give you well over 90fps with nearly max settings). Not sure how much RAM you would need, though I would say 32GB would be more than sufficient. And of course, a reasonable amount of storage space, especially if you are modding the game.

@@JaseTopAngler euto truck sim is surprisingly light on specs. Until recently, i was playing it on a surface pro 4 with integrated graphics and 4GB RAM, and it ran pretty smoothly with a reasonable graphics level.

If only there was a time cycle mod. The best I know of is one that changes sun position, and thus shadows - but that is about it.

I just stumbled across this video randomly and omg this map looks amazing! I've seen some people play on UK maps but I love the scale that this is at and your playthrough seems more realistic.

No coil whine at all on mine - I believe any unit with coil whine should be reported to Fanatec as it should not be happening

You could work toward hubs, rail hubs for freight with trucks distributing to towns and cities… then following through the ages, moving away from steam and modernising the fleets. Looking to close down unprofitable lines but leaving track in place in some areas… great series btw, by far my favouring KZfaq series on TF2 (I watch a few)

you could use the river and have cargo harbor rail combo running either end of the river, ship raw materials via ship, and rail the consumables to central hubs for distribution (lot of work)
