Under rated. Bob And Christine should be ashamed of themselves. So should Mick and John for letting them make Danny feel unwelcome R.I.P. Danny and Peter...

Its funny that every live performance of the band thats on youtube there's a comment saying " This has gotta be the best live performance ever recorded" doesnt matter which song. These guys were so tight and good.

no wonder their records sound mush and not good...they needed baffles and separation so it could be mixed......nothing wrong with playing live but separation of instruments is important to get some punch

Its as if Richard Manuel was just standing around outside the shop and telling this to some guy he knew...he wasn't teally singing it. Very compelling and perfectly rendered. This band was pure genius plus a WHOLE lot of love placed down. The Band is forever. Its not just about hitting notes. Its about heart and soul.

Richard Manual was a powerhouse lead singer. They weren't a vocal group so he didn't get to blow. but he's as good as anybody in the business.
