I love Ecamm, however...it seems with past upgrades and new features it's going more down the 'presentation tool' road instead of a 'live streaming tool'. I'd love to see more features that would make a live stream more interactive with the viewers. For example, a way to randomly select a winner for a giveaway and a way for viewers to enter said giveaway. A way to 'sell' items or make offers for products during a stream. There is an app call Fanatics Live that does a GREAT job for giveaways and selling. Other ideas include ways for the viewers to interact with the streamer like on TikTok live. So many different platforms out there are geared towards live streaming and it seems Ecamm is becoming just Zoom/PowerPoint on steroids and geared towards presentations.

When I do do this, it sends me to Otter Ai. I can't figure out what setting I need to change in Zoom for it to send me to Facebook. Any ideas? Thank you!

The Mk II is better in every way, except no mechanical shutter and cost. The cost is the biggest issue, I just got the Mark I for £420 on sale, vs Mark II at pre-order of £925. I'm sure the Mark II will drop in price eventually, but that's a huge increase. Until I have issue with rolling shutter, or need tech specs like 4k60, 10bit, 600mbps, luts on HDMI output. The Mark I is great value. The price increase pushes it too close to A6700 (£1169) or FX30 (£1429)

I don't understand the point about the HDMI adaptor. Can you explain it better? What is the difference between right or left sides?

But you didn't switch on the phantom power, did you? Why's that? I thought condensor mikes require phanton power...

I am in the planning stage of creating live video and general video instructional tutorials, as shown in Master Art Classes, for Bead Woven and Bead Embroidered Jewelry making. I am very green to photography and video production. I have made a few test videos with my cell phone and loved it, but the quality was not professional. I need a good overhead set up to shoot close-ups of very small beads and thread. Would this camera work for this application? I love your videos and appreciate all the time and effort you put into them. Thank you!

This video saved my life. Thank you! The only thing I'd add is that, on top of all of this, I also couldn't click "share sound" -- it was grayed out. Turns out, you have to click "one participant can share at a time," which you can get to by clicking the little carrot in the Share Screen button, and then the share sound option is available. THANK YOU AGAIN!

Not working on the iPhone 😢

The caller I am speaking to is getting a full volume repeat of everything she says on here end - whether using AirPods, Speaker, etc. She hears me fine from the RC pro 2 and I get a clean recording signal from her. But she get's a full volume echo of everything SHE says - not me (the host). She hears me fine. Anyone have any idea what's going on on her end to cause this? Mix minus is set on the bluetooth channel of the RCP2.
