Does it have to be a green sticker
@MatthewAguero2 ай бұрын
Assuming you're from California since you're asking about a green sticker. All you need is your off-road title to start the process. I would look at my other video, "How to street-legal a dirtbike", to help you with the process. California police may give you a hard time if you get pulled over due to your VIN being an offroad VIN even though your title is changed to a motorcycle title.

Hi, I think it is a great video that I hope will help me to do a valve clearance by my self. I have three questions that I hope you can help me with. The first, once you have taken the valve cover of, is it important that the chain is very tightend so it does not relise from any kind of gearwheel at the bottom? (My english is not that great) Can the chain "turn" and mess every thing up as you take the cam shafts of? The second, when you screw out the 8 bolts, do you do in numerical order when you losen them or when you screw them back? Should it in that case be done back wards from 8-1 when you put them back? Thank you once again for the video
@MatthewAguero5 ай бұрын
You could use a zip tie on the cam chain and camshaft sprockets to hold them together. Or you can use a white paint marker and mark a line on the chain and sprocket so you know where the chain should be aligned when you put it back on the sprocket. You take loosen and tighten the camshaft covers in 1-8 numerical order. So take them off and put them back on in the 1-8 order.
@MatthewAguero5 ай бұрын
Also, the cam chain tensioner needs to removed in order to check your valve clearance. Once you replace your valve shims if needed then you will put reset your cam chain tensioner and put it back on.

I’ve been riding for less than a week. At first I was stalling a lot, because I was doing this- releasing the clutch and then adding some throttle- it’s a tough balance. Then someone told me to do the opposite and I haven’t stalled since- so I add a little trottle so some throttle is present- then I slowly open up the clutch, then I add more throttle, etc.
@MatthewAguero2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that’s what I explain how to do in the video. While you release the clutch, you simultaneously give the bike gas.

Dirt legal is not legit, they have false advertisement do not work with them unless you want to loose your money for fake services

I had a good experience with the company when I used their services. If you could please share your experience with their company, that would be appreciated.

Where is the false advertisement? We advertise that we can register any vehicle and that is what we strive to do or we issue a 100% refund if we cannot get a vehicle registered and titled as long as you are able to provide the proper paperwork.
